My buddy from middle school on had a crush on a girl in our social circle from day one. We all hung out all through out middle school and high school but nothing ever happened between them. Fast forward to a couple years after high school and everyone is back home on break from college and we have a house party and those two finally hook up. They go upstairs and about two minutes later the girl comes down the stairs and loudly announces to the party his dick is so small it's not worth her time. Everyone fucking laughed at his expense.

His crush of about 8 years publicly humiliated him in front of all the people he grew up with. He bailed about 5 minutes after she came down, I felt so bad for this dude. She sat there with a bunch of other girls who were finding smaller and smaller objects to compare to his size until they got it laughing hysterically the whole time.

This girl has made about a dozen me too posts about being objectified because of being a woman.

A side note: Yoga pants, lycra, etc. are just an extension of the false advertising that females engage in. Those clothes, which women claim are comfortable even though they clearly are not, can make (just about) anyone's ass and legs look great. I have recently seen 60+ year old women in these leggings and I'll admit that their legs look forty years younger. I've also seen plenty of women I know to have cottage-cheese asses in these pants and they look smooth and toned. The thing is, you know that there are wrinkled, nasty, cellulite-ridden legs hiding just beneath the thin fabric of those pants. I get tired of the false advertisement. This comic simply reminded my of this phenomenon where I see EVERY girl on the local college campuses wearing the EXACT same outfit consisting of yoga pants/leggings and a scarf that may be combined with either a bulky coat, t-shirt, or cleavage-bearing halter/spaghetti of some sort.

Probably not the right sub to put this in, but how about a little empathy? Everyone is beholden to the styles of the day. I pretty much live in khaki shorts because everyone wears them due to how easy it is to match them. Fortunately, men's styles are usually not very sexy (other than dem male rompers, and I'm not gay). So it's easy to try to spread blame to women who wear what men view as sexy clothing, but to them it's just what everyone's wearing. And even though a big part of maturity is not worrying so much about trends, it's really a tough place to be in to have two options: 1. Wear shitty clothes and have everyone think you don't give a shit about how you look, or even worse, that you're making an attention grabbing statement 2. Buy into the trends just to know you look "good" without too much effort, but end up sexualized.

As someone who hates putting effort into dressing, I understand why the latter wins out. And since these female fashion trends are often designed to flaunt their features, women end up looking sexy just trying to dress normally. Doesn't mean they want attention.

TLDR: women's clothes are designed to be sexy. Want to just buy some average clothes at the store? Boom, tight pants and cleavage. It doesn't mean they want attention.
