I tried every possible scenario and in the end, no matter how much I won in court I could not defeat the poison of her soul seeping into him. Nor could I get the influence to allow him to see its dangers for himself.
Even in the last phone call, six months after turning eighteen I called to offer college money and continued healthcare, they continued their abuse. She started insulting my family and he even refused to take the call.
My father warned me, and I fought to show the boy he had value. But he had no desire to break the sickly embrace of the dark smother. It’s warm moldy environs infected his soul. Alas he cannot even fight it off as I did. He lacks the strength.

One of my best friends was in such a situation. His mother poisoned him against his father. When we would occasionally hang out at his dad's house I could see how hard he tried to get through to his son and it felt genuine. $2000/mo for 2 kids for 9 years= $216k, and $1000/mo for 1 kid for 4 years=$48k. Grand total =264k (this was forced on me and my income was $96,000). Plus all healthcare=tens of thousands $, all activity and sports $ (figure skating and AAU baseball.. She paid nothing because she cares less about them than herself) = ~50k. She saved $0 of all that CS for college. On top of all that, right when we separated, she bankrupted us. She got chapter 7 (no payments) and I was forced into chapter 13 ($800 payments for 5 years = $48k). Plus whatever else she refused to pay for that they needed. All said about $A half million. I am not anywhere near worst case there is, but it changed my life, closed doors and opportunities and was not healthy for my kids. They're 24 & 20 now, they love me and finally are beginning to understand.

Ya my stepfather had to pay for his son all the way through college. I don't have too much heart burn about the CS I paid. If I had a surrogate to get my kid and then hire a nanny to care for him it would've been more expensive. It's cool now, wasn't at the time. Hang in there dude, one day at a time.

Why would they want to accuse you of rape? That’s a very long and difficult process for them to undergo to randomly spite a guy they have only been on a few dates with i think. Your problem is your trying to apply logic to the female mind. They do not go together, its akin to trying to run your car engine on distilled water. Men use logic, women operate on emotion. You don't need to say that you are in university, we already know. Only kids ask these questions. Not trying to be rude by the way, it's just that you haven't seen how women develop yet.
Basically, most women are a great deal when they are college students. I'm in my 30s and I like to date college girls myself. They are less demanding, they are not thinking about money, kids or anything like that. They are hot. They are perfect for semi LTRs with no pressure to spend money or buy a ring anytime soon.
But women reach a point in life when they change priorities, usually in their late 20s. Suddenly, they realize they are not as hot as they used to be. They start thinking about having kids, and their biological clocks are ticking loudly. They start needing money, they don't want "stupid hookups" anymore. They want a provider and want it fast.
At that point, those who are single will start looking for a beta provider. They may rationalize it as a "good father", "marriage material man", etc. but all of that is code for "man who can (and is willing to) provide resources". Those who are already married will make sure their current husband is a good provider, so don't think you are safe if you marry your high school sweetheart right after graduating college.
So at that point everything changes. The hotness, sweetness and seemingly unconditional love of those college students turns into a desire for resources. Once their priority is resources, you can expect anything. You better keep your job and not try anything stupid like "following your dreams" or changing careers. Don't buy stupid stuff or cars with the money she is entitled to.
You'll see it. It's just nature. Just observe. Pay attention to older couples. See who's the provider and who sits around all day. You may be OK with this, but keep in mind that for women you MUST do this. It's women's nature to want resources. The sooner you know that the better your life will be. You'll also bang the hottest girls when you know this.

Evil has nothing to do with it really. In a way it's not even fully the fault of women. Its hypergamy gone wild, paired with a judicial system that actually encourages them to take advantage of Male partners. If someone told you tomorrow that you could leave work, take half whatever your bosses retirement, a stipend every month so long as you dont have a job, and a check every month for every pet you have.... what would you do? Sounds like a pretty sweet deal no? That's the situation that many of these women find themselves in. And it's just to tempting when they get bored, or hypergamy kicks in, or they aren't attracted to their mate any more.... so they take it. And its usually the men getting royally fucked.

It's a moot point. The issue is the legal power to cause harm. What percentage of divorced men went into their marriages expecting to get divorced? What percentage of men freed by the Innocence Project expected to face and ultimately be jailed for a false rape accusation following consensual sex? What percentage of men who are later shown by DNA evidence not to be the father expected to be victims of paternity fraud? The answer in each case is, if not literally then functionally, zero. And yet each of those three life-ruining problems are shockingly and tragically common. So, you could either ignore reality and take a gamble on a woman and hope it doesn't blow up in your face, or you could put your own interests first and not bother with them.
