As a man who is actively saving up for a sexbot, I am not particularly concerned about this potential threat. My ex is not likely to be less dangerously crazy than a sexbot.

This wouldn't be a thing and would be the equivalent of people saying "my bank account was hacked" when they entered their card on some shady website.

You would have to be able to forcibly download new firmware onto it and I highly doubt the programmers making the robot would even allow that if they have been doing anything software related for more than a week. Even then you would have to have its IP address or physical access to it with a USB stick of some sort and very specific instructions matching the language used to write it if the sexbots are going to be made the way I assume they will.

Yeaahh I feel like the only kind of “sex bot” I’d actually want is a looooong ways away. Meaning stuff I’d care about is warming technology, lubricating technology, and realistic & dynamic movements pertaining to intercourse. Especially that last one will take a long time and once attained will be ridiculously expensive for even longer.

Until then I’m looking to save up for a quality doll that feels great and looks great, probably with a heating system. Not at all interested in it saying cheesy lines in an unrealistic voice, moving it’s face/body in creepy and unnatural ways, or anything like that.
