Sucks took hear. I had subscribed to Celestina Monkey a couple of weeks ago for this very reason and am actually listening tonight the 3/24/18 TFM 420 show as I type this.

For those of you that like to listen to YouTube podcasts/streams but loath having to leave your phone screen on lest you pay for YouTube Red, I discovered a solution for those with an Android phone.

Download the app F-Droid. Ensure "3rd party app permissions" are enabled. In F-Droid, search for an app called NewPipe and install it. It is a YouTube front end client that doesn't use the google API (which means 's it tends to ask to update to a newer version almost everyday). Search for and 'Subscribe' to your favorite channels, select a video, hit the background toggle and it is just like listening to music on your phone. I have noticed that since it doesn't use the API there can be some integration issues such as my Bluetooth headphones can toggle volume but not skip to the next video but it is such a minor thing that it doesn't matter.
