It's remarkable how the benefits of being ethical is completely lost on that 'influencer'. Hard to tell if this is due to her dumbness, or her limitless narcissism.

The main reason someone might 'follow' an influencer is that the content is reliable / of quality. That includes the idea that the influencer is being objective and impartial when reviewing stuff. Obviously it's only human that they will be somewhat biased depending on freebies they might get, but here, the influencer is saying out loud how the food was amazing, but that they will not communicate it with their followers because of a personal gripe. Talk about lack of objectivity.

I've heard that influencers have very little pull with getting business increased sales except in those trendy places where higher profile celebrities can bring in much more clientele. They might still get paid because its better than nothing in some cases but otherwise I don't think restaurants live & die by influencers.
