Because most men have deeply internalised the idea that women are magical and can do no wrong and that it's a man's job to be a tool of utility for women (just look at all the hapless providers in society who actually pride themselves on supporting an adult who is capable of work but doesn't want to work).

MGTOW challenges this idea and so these men are quick to lash out against it, as they don't want/can't bear the illusion to crumble. To accept MGTOW is to accept that you've been lied to your entire life. It can be very hard to do.

First of all, this is my opinion and not the opinion of this sub or other MGTOWs, who have their own opions, thoughts and experiences.

That said, women are a major factor in humanity, so they will always be mentioned. Women, feminists, white knights, manginas, and SJWs always laugh and mock MGTOW for talking about women especially since (as they always point out and "encourage") we have supposedly gone our own way, but ask yourself why that is. Women are major influences on society, culture, and men. Now they are the majority voters and are becoming policy makers. In essence, they get to decide how families works and how societies develop and progress, so they will always be mentioned. Women had made terrible impressions on men, many times disastrous. Some women have given men heart attacks and even had men kill themselves. They will be mentioned because they are responsible for masculine, cultural, and societal state of affairs.

Men are ATM, money makers, and work horses and women are sex objectsand statues of beauty, generally speaking. Women don't want to be "oBJeCtIFied" but are quick to objectify men not only physically and sexuall, but in other ways, such as our ways to work and make money.

That said, who cares what others think? Assenting to their opinions and beliefs means that you are wrong and that you are nothing but a plantation employee. Go back to the plantation if you want, but you'll see that things are getting worse. Each MGTOW has his own life and his own way of going about things. Keep in mind that some MGTOWS are experienced men who have been divorced, and had their lives destroyed through the taking of their children and assets. Some of them have been in shitty, abusive, unfair relationships. Some have had shitty mothers, sisters, and aunts who have ruined their personalities and character and/or tainted them with false beliefs, notions, and opinions on women, life, and how life works. Some are sick and tired of women's unpredictable, always looking for bigger and better things mentality, and unsatisfied behavior while men are expected to work for their every feeling, and every whim. Women control society to a great extent and with that they have made men's life miserable. Society has intentionally taught us that women aren't different, to treat them specially, but they are different--very different--and they are cruel and vicious to men in different ways and degrees. Unless you are pure alpha with good looks, you will have an easier time with them. If you aren't and nature gave you a shitty deal, you will have to live in a society that flashes images and songs of Taylor Swift and Kardashian, big asses and tits that you can't get, nice homes, cars, and clothes, and new age bi-sexual feminist women/trad-con women who shame you with their religion, be it Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, etc.

Red Pills are pussy beggars who do circus tricks to seem desirable to women: they dress nicely not for themselves, but to have "SwAgG" to get a pussy wet. They try to understand women to get laid. MGTOW are men that have gone their own way before they knew they were a so called "MGTOW", when they realized everything they were told regarding women and male behavior and relationships are lies and pointless; that's why most MGTOWs click automatically, because the life lessons they learned are the same; female behavior, generally, is the same and what they do to men results in MGTOW. Some men entered MGTOW status through different avenues that had nothing to do with women: they rationally analyzed their life and made choices to cut corners based on how things and life works.

It's in women's nature to always group together against men, and some men join them (white knights, manginas, and in this case sometimes even Red Pills) against innocent men that want to live honestly and straightforwardly. There have been MGTOWs throughout history anyway, it's nothing new. When a man becomes cornered with a raw deal in everything, he won't have any of it; he either kills himself or reaches a new level in independence, and that level is MGTOW. His default status, and most of the time permanent, becomes MGTOW.

So what if some of us can't get women? That's actually ideal, especially when you're unattractive, because it saves you the massive pain of dealing with female nature. Suppose an unattractive/undesirable man--like me--got a hot woman and got married to her; she will have me wrapped around her finger because I'd be doing all sorts of tricks to keep her happy and satisfied, just to have access to sex. I won't be in charge of the relationship, and she reserves the right to cheat, will manipulate and threaten me, punish me with no sex and love, and even end the relationship. If married, she can also devastate my life through alimony and child support, whether the offspring are mine or not. In order to deal with such attractive women, you have to be attractive yourself and be able to replace her, but even that is not a sure way of staving off painful problems like divorce and loss of assets. If the woman I get into a relationship is unattractive, it would be an unattractive woman with terrible sex plus her demanding and annoying behavior as much as an attractive woman.

That said, most of us also have no need for women, except for sex, and some of us either reject it or know how to get it, ethically and legally. Women have shown themselves time and again they rarely are more then sex objects and sex machines, who gladly ride the oft mentioned "cock carousel" of 6 ft. 3 inch Chads and Brads. Sex will becomes less and less important as you age and become more aware that you moving closer to biological death, and that you want to do something else in life. With that in mind, a MGTOW would cast out women and focus on living as happy and pain free (physical/emotional) as possible and not give a damn. Women are tedious and are always playing games and they usually leave men as wrecks at the end.

We're only MGTOW because we refuse to change ourself

Change ourself to accommodate a Kim Kardashian, Modern Family, Taylor Swift, and a feminist and gynocentric society? Change ourself to "man up" for useless women, and to work harder and smarter for nothing at the end? Change ourself to what end? MGTOW is change! Personally speaking, MGTOW has changed my outlook on life and on human nature. It taught me to live minimally and for myself and for my own happiness, to not waste my time and mental health of made up images of a beautiful life that is impossible: the nice family life, with an attractive wife, with good sex, lasting love, children, and all that other shit; it taught me to appreciate my short time I have in this universe before I close my eyes forever, and that dying from sadness and of a stroke because of some shitty expectation to get married.

We're only MGTOW because we're bitter

Some are, some aren't. What they gloss over is that there are so many bitter men and women who are trad-cons, feminists, gay, atheist. Every group or class has bitter people. What's wrong with bitterness when society and culture is built on human nature and how we function psychologically and physically, leaving many of us to live shitty lives? You can't change a shitty life with blue pill mentality, but you can with MGTOW, no matter what you look like. You can be Brad Pitt and be MGTOW and be Danny DeVito and be MGTOW.

Many MGTOWs are alpha and can't stand women, and only fuck them. After they get older and less sexually active, they will disregard them further. MGTOW "betas", such as myself physically speaking because I am short and cute/average looking, view life rationally. For me, I'm working on being less sexually active because being sexually active does cause bitterness at times, but isnt always the case; that is, if you want to have sex with hot women badly and you can't.

MGTOW undermines this mindset by identifying that one's self-worth is not based on women.

You will note that virtually ALL of those are verbatim echoes of the kinds of inane "shame tactics" that women/feminists say about MGTOW.

IMO the simple truth of the matter -- short and sweet -- is that TRP is an attempt to "adapt" to feminism, to inherently accept it's tenets and then to (and this is the critical distinction vs MGTOW) for men to change themselves into what women [ostensibly 'really'] want them to be.

That is the direct opposite of MGTOW, which in essence says "no, we won't change and pander to the demands of pussy."

What the two have in common is a few underlying things:

1) both are groups of men (well, at least "male humans", TRP seems to mostly be relatively young guys, borderline boys rather than men)

2) both are a reaction to the overreach of feminism; and...

3) both (to a certain extent) understand that women are not "innocents" and "victims", but rather highly manipulative self-centered creatures.

But really, that's where the commonality ends; and in virtually everything else, the two groups substantially diverge. Many people will claim that both have additional similarities (i.e. focus on yourself, concentrate on improving yourself, etc) -- but really those are in fact VERY distinctly different in emphasis, again:

TRP says "change/improve yourself in ways that will impress women ... to obtain [temporary] access to pussy";
MGTOW by contrast says "IGNORE what women 'want' and improve yourself in ways YOU want (for yourself, not for women) ... and it generally also emphasizes NOT wasting time/effort/resources on chasing pussy." (Because it isn't a "high market value" thing... it's a cheap & pervasive commodity, and -- other than it's usefulness in bearing children -- not really worth much anyway, and besides in now has FAR too many 'minefield' like risks attached).

So, why do TRP'ers engage in feminist/feminine perspective "shaming tactics"? Because they're philosophy is all about looking at the world from a FEMALE perspective... and they generally don't even realize that.

What TRP identifies as the "highest value item on the earth" ... MGTOW disdains as an essentially worthless commodity.

This was a post made by someone earlier this week explaining MGTOW. In my opinion it's exactly 100% of my beliefs and philosophy of what MGOTW means. Read it 1-10 all the way through. What Redpillers, White-knights, and females don't understand about MGTOW.

"MGTOW, an acronym standing for “men going their own way” is in my honest opinion the largest (and coolest) wing of the “man-o-sphere”. One thing I've noticed is that MGTOW runs into a lot of opposition from feminist groups, “white knights”, and females alike. However, with all of those attacks they seem to have one thing in common: a lack of understanding of the MGTOW movement. So here are 10 things white-knights , feminists, and females do not understand about MGTOW.

1) MGTOW is more of a philosophy on how to live life instead of a movement.

This is a very important one, a political movement is defined as a organized social group operating to achieve a certain goal. MGTOW does not operate in such a manner. At it's very essence it's a bunch of guys who've adopted a new way of living life. They don't seek to change the status quo, but instead opt out of whatever society expects them to do.

2) MGTOWS are not just bitter men who cant get a date.

A lot of women think this is what MGTOW is all about. If this is you too, guess what? You're wrong. Some of the first MGTOWs were divorced men. Men stuck paying alimony to a cheating ex wife who divorced him. Men screwed over sideways in family courts for child custody. Then it spread to men in marriages who were downright miserable with the way their wives treated them. Then it spread to men in relationships that were fed up with the dating world and how they were expected to act, despite being taken advantage of by women. Some of these men have been in abusive relationships. Then finally is spread to the young single guys in their 20's.

It's not that MGTOWS cant get a date, they just dont want to. They've taken a good logical look at dating, marriage, and they way divorce courts treat them. At that point they decided to say “screw this i'm out”.

3) MGTOWS are not social hermits.

Females seem to think that a MGTOW is some guy living his mom's basement who refuses to leave and live life. In a Youtube video called ”Dear Men” by Alexanda Blue she mention that guys were isolating themselves from society. MGTOWS don't isolate themselves they just don’t conform to society. They have friends, they most definitely have hobbies, they have family, they have good jobs, and they have fun. Calling them hermits is seriously missing the mark.

4) MGTOW's are very content with their lifestyle.

They have good jobs, a lot of them have their own business. They have time and luxury to pursue dreams and hobbies. Since a lot of MGTOWS don't have to support a family, a lot of their money turns into disposable income. A lot of MGTOWS will tell you themselves that they live very peaceful, orderly lives. Which brings me to my next point

5) Insulting or shaming MGTOW does jack squat.

People who dislike MGTOW really can't seem to come to terms with this. All the time you the see them telling MGTOWS to “man up!” or say that they have “peter pan syndrome”. The reason why none of this works against a MGTOW is because you fail to see things the way the see it. To a MGTOW settling down means giving up all of your hobbies, your awesome life style, and pursuing your dreams, for a life of monotony. Even more so, “manning up” would mean entering in to a marriage where he could potentially lose at least half his assets (car, house, kids, etc.) in the event of a divorce. From a logical standpoint, trying to shame a MGTOW into settling down is pointless.

6)They're not all anti-feminist they just could care less about women's rights, issues, etc.

Now, don't get me wrong some of MGTOWS are anti-feminist. The rest of them could just care less. If MRA's and feminists were to have a debate, MGTOWS wouldn't even bother to show up much less get out of bed. If you're trying to rally a MGTOW to some female social cause, don't bother.

7) Alot of MGTOW's avoid women all together.

Don't like being catcalled in the street? No problem, they wont catcall you. Hate being stared at the gym? Fine by them, they wont look. Don't liked being asked for your number in random places? Alrighty. You don't have to worry about a MGTOW doing any of these things. In fact a MGTOW won't even bother to look in your direction. A MGTOW will keep conversation with you to a minimum. What people forget that this is a double edge sword. Having a guy buy you drinks at a bar? Nope! Taking you out to a nice expensive dinner and picking up the tab? Nope! Taking you for a ride on his motorcycle or in his sports car? Guess again. Casual flirting? I think not. Now I will mention that some MGTOWS do in fact have girlfriends or wives; but the majority are done are single yet off-the-market. Especially in a society where a guy in one false rape accusation or sexual harassment case away from a jail sentience.

8) MGTOW is growing.

From 2009-2015 MGTOW went from being a obscure movement to the largest wing of the “man-o-sphere”. Today, there a numerous blogs, forums, and Youtube channels that are devoted to MGTOW philosophy. Do a simple google search for MGTOW and see for yourself.

9) If you want to stop this growth you have to change what causes men to go their own way.

If MGTOW's growth is alarming to you then you're going to have to change what causes them to go MGTOW. Which means change the divorce courts, the attack on masculinity, the institution of marriage, social expectations on men, etc. Things such as shaming them, calling them “man-boys”, having white-knights attack them, and other methods will do nothing to stop this growth. The problem people have with this is that to a certain degree they are going to have to assign blame to themselves (* cough* straw feminists). They're are many honest reasons a man will go his own way, just ask one.

10) MGTOWS are not afraid of being alone.

When I talked about MGTOW to a female friend, she asked “Aren't they afraid of being lonely ?” The answer to this question was no. To a MGTOW, being alone does not mean being lonely. He may not have a girlfriend or a wife but he still have friends, family, and his hobbies to keep him occupied. A MGTOW has no need for female companionship. "

My brother claims that it is immoral to make generalizations about people, but fails to recognize all the generalizations (men are rapists, men are abusive, men are evil, the SCUM manifesto) that are made about us. This myopia leads him to the conclusion that the manosphere is the only group engaging in such generalizations, and that we could all live happily together if men would just stop talking about women's behavior.

He also thinks that protecting himself from abuse at the hands of women is unnecessary and shows that he is a bad partner because he doesn't trust his gf.

In short: men have their own rationalization hamster wheel that has evolved to encourage men to reproduce no matter what. MGTOW tell men to get off the hamster wheel, and blue pill men would rather prove that they are the One Good Man.

WE ALL KNOW WHAT BRINGS MEN TO MGTOW...(even the men who hate it and/or are scared of it). What brings men to MGTOW is that unstoppable inner-voice of conscience that consistently tells them, "something's wrong."

Well, something IS WRONG, and MGTOW lays it out BARE for everyone to see, and let's be honest...IT ISN'T PRETTY. Not everyone is ready to deal with truth, especially when:

(1.) It (truth) flies in the face of pretty much everything you've been told and sold ever since you were able to crawl.

(2.) Facing truth and taking appropriate action will expose you to ridicule, possibly being ostracized and at the very least, being viewed with suspicion by the larger group.

One can take the red pill and embrace the painful truth, or they can take the blue pill and retreat into ignorance. Problem is, even when taking the blue pill, that inner voice telling them "something's wrong" will never go away and they'll suffer a life of inner-dissonance because of it--no matter how much they try and fight it.

All of the growing shaming, non-MGTOW attention says one thing:

Blue-pillers are scared s**tless of what MGTOW means for men:

(1.) Men can be perfectly happy, healthy, successful, empowered and achieve great things without pursuing and pandering to women.

(2.) MGTOWS have faced the fact that validation, acceptance and self-identity comes from within, not from without.

(3.) MGTOWS are completely immune (due to #1 and #2) to societal shaming tactics and shrug them off without a second thought.

I think part of the problem is that too many posters on this sub come off as anger-phase RPillers. That needs to stop. More of r/MGTOW needs to be about embracing the freedom of MGTOW.

We are losing battles in relationships, paternity, and our rights. MGTOW seems like a passive form of protest to me; though I do understand their frustration, I cannot co-sign on their solution
