I hope you gentlemen will indulge me with some advice, as I have little elsewhere to turn to.

Some weeks ago, I discovered this subreddit and realized what I had been doing wrong in my marriage for the last two years (married 6 years, together 7). My apologies for not having the will to link my original post, but you can easily find me by my post history since this is a secret account anyway. I had all been set to start redpilling my way to marital success, and was going to buy MMSLP for starters, but then shit happened that made it impossible to continue with my plans.

I feel like my life has been going from crisis to crisis for the last two years. Either the child is facing some crisis (severe illness, sleep problems) or the wife is facing some crisis (Cancer) or I'm facing a crisis (almost had career explode due to psychopathic boss). But last week, it was the worst of all crisis. For over a week, I was ill with strange symptoms -- fever, chills, nausea, runny nose, even nearly collapsed twice! I had gone to the ER but they proved useless. Finally, one morning, I woke up with the mother lode of toothaches! I barged into my dentist's office and begged him to help me. He was nice enough to look at my teeth, and discovered that I had a chipped filling that was allowing mouth bacteria to seep into the tooth pulp. This may have been going on for a couple of weeks at least. He eventually fixed the problem, and that, by itself was what was bothering me.

After all this, you'd think my wife would be considerate of me since I had a major illness that could've killed me, and that, despite being prostrate for a week, that it wasn't without good reason. But this is not the case! Instead, she blames me for taking too long to get medical attention and "making me into your mother." Even now, she is giving me the icy silent treatment, where all conversations are only about absolutely important things (usually child care related or grocery shopping related). At this point, I'm wondering if it's all over. The icy treatment has gone on a week, and at this rate, I'm losing interest in saving the marriage rapidly. I have to wonder if someone is going to pull the "divorce" card any day soon.

Naturally, because of this crisis, I never even got to advance red pill interests. I was a virtual invalid for over a week! Before that, my son had had a fever for a week. Before that, he had a disorder called transient synovitis, where he couldn't walk for a couple of weeks! So you see, crisis is all my life has been.

TLDR: Wife treats me like shit after I've been victim to illness. Now I wonder if I should even bothering staying with her.
