Fun fact, we knew this is the 90's, but the anti-science feminist silenced us, and pushed forward the Duluth Model, so they can have us evicted from our homes at the point of a finger, without any evidence needed, while we must continue to pay for the mortgage and service, while they live in the home, even if their name is not on the property!
[–]brick_bones29 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
This is exactly what happened to a friend of mine back in 2020.. this shit is crazy.
[–]GreenMenace19157 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

He’s paying for the bills for a house he is no longer allowed to live in because of divorce

rightfully so
[–]_General--Kenobi_9 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
At that point, just sell the home without telling her. Or just stop paying the bills to the home and have it repossessed. Id be willing to destroy my credit score just to say "If I can't have my house, then neither can you"
[–]DevilishRogue9 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
The courts don't allow you to do that and will issue liens on wages, seize assets, whatever they can to screw the guy over.
[–]_General--Kenobi_0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
The courts can't legally stop you from selling the home though. So I'd just sell it.
[–]Camela_Harris1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
They absolutely can.
[–]_General--Kenobi_1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Isn't that a violation of constitutional rights? Just because she happens to be living in it doesn't mean his right to do what he wishes with his own property goes away. Just like a Landlord can evict tenants, the owner of a house can choose to sell it and evict its current inhabitants.
Just researched it, if the husband has sole ownership of the home, he can force the sale and force the wife out. The woman can fight it in court if she wants, but in most cases she has to vacate the home while the case is tried. So either way, the husband wins.
There's also the option of bankruptcy. Husband can erase his entire debt portfolio and relinquish the house entirely. Then she is forced to move out unless she wants to pay for it herself. Which is a nice "fuck you" ;)

I wonder if that's like the small dog effect.
Men are used to dealing with other men and being larger then women as well as stronger. We don't really feel the need to lord it over our partners and friends usually.
But women are like small dogs, and try to constantly prove they are on par with men or try to dominate their partners and end up being overly aggressive.
Really seems like women take to being more violent then men when it comes to the home situation.
Or maybe not, what do I know?
[–]FeierInMeinHose68 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
It’s more that they’ve been conditioned to assume there will be zero retaliation for their violence, whereas men know there will be consequences for their actions.
[–][deleted]38 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
That is the small dog effect. This other guy got it wrong, the real reason why small dogs are agreesive is because when a Chihuahua is mean people think it's cute but when a rottweiler is mean it's scary and needs to be put down.
[–]JablesRadio23 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Women face no consequence for being violent but know if a man ever is he is taking a ride in a squad car. Women KNOW they can get away with it. FEMINISTS think they should get away with it.
[–]BaddyRio8 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Literally every time this topic comes up in feminist spaces they all say “no one should be hitting anyone”. Like yeah we all know that, but people get hit, it’s inevitable, so why are they so against men retaliating. The only reason women have the audacity to hit men is because they expect to be able to get away with it.
Imagine a self defence case and the prosecutions argument was “no one should be killing anyone”, yeah no shit buddy. People should still have a right to defend themselves.
[–]JablesRadio2 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
That's the serious mindset we're dealing with when it comes to these people. It's stronger than faith and religion for them.
[–]BaddyRio1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
It really is. I’ve only just recently had my eyes open to how brainwashed these people are. A year and a half ago I used to be one of them.
Realising its bullshit gives such a liberating feeling.

Just check any comments or news where woman killed or hurt her husband. Se is being praised by females in comments and celebrated as a hero. That’s just a little preview on what would happen to men if women are allowed to have all the power
[–]Snoopy342118 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
this make me feel bad... here in my country people mock men when they get cheated by their girlfriend. saying he wasn't man enough to satisfy her needs, they never blame women. but when a man cheats he's the worst person alive.

Women have gained the "Karen" due to the fact that they don't have to answer for their hostilities in public and to others like men do.
My ex wife used to get all huff and puff over other drivers in traffic, basically thrusting the chance of a fight onto me since she has female immunity.

Still remember a casual conversation a woman was having loudly in the office of my old work place ...
"I was bored last night so just slapped my boyfriend"
More shockingly she said this to two other men who laughed at the boyfriend situation.

My soon to be ex-wife was just arrested for the second time for domestic violence (on me, as we still live together and are going through the process.) The sad part? Her excuse it to say “he hit himself”, and that I should be worried about her trial next month.
Yeah, fuck that. I hope she actually receives punishment this time.
[–]CompetitiveCrab76170 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
there are tons of other studies to disprove exactly this. implying that men aren't more violent on average (commit 95% of violent crimes, even if you factored in unreported or unpunished women men would still be more violent), you all seem to practice a high level of confirmation bias for your narrative when the truth is obvious
[–]Important_Barber_148-5 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Is that why men kill so many women? 🤦
[–]reddut_gang1 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Maybe they're just fed up with the abuse. Abused women have done the same.
so they kill them? is that why men also kill other men, children? if this were reality in your favor qomen qould kill just as many of these as men but they dont.
Are you talking about infanticide? Women commit way more infaticide than men. Double, even.
[–]CompetitiveCrab76171 point 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
are infants the only children to exist? lol
they kill more children in general. the infanticide rates are just much higher for them.
more women than men have access to children of all ages. you have to adjust statistics to make reasonable commentary on comparing how men vs women treat children. more women care for infants, it is obvious that infanticide is more common among them.
Twice as much though? Two-parent households are the most common household in the states.
who is the one caring for children? children are primarily cared for by women, relationships or not, or they're in daycares and schools which are, again, primarily women. most infanticide does not occur in two parent households. it is usually single women with unwanted pregnancies.
So they have more time to develop a strong bond with these children and still end up being more likely to kill them? Jesus.
there not "more likely to kill children." they are just around children more. do you lack critical thought?

“Hundreds of sources say women are more likely to experience domestic violence, but this once is correct because it agrees with my point.” -Y’all
[–]PeaceMaker_69699 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
What's this got to do with this post?
[–]DanganFuckery-10 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I’m disagreeing. I don’t know what else I would be doing lmao
OP is claiming (and the commentors are agreeing) that women abuse partners more than men, when it’s a pretty well known fact that women are more likely to be victims of domestic abuse. There are more sources than I know what to do with that say that women are more likely to be physically, sexually, and mentally/physiologically abused than men. But, since there’s one source that says the opposite, that’s the one you guys wanna listen to. I’m calling you hypocritical, in short.
[–]PeaceMaker_696910 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I know women face domestic violence, but the article isn't about violence, its about aggression. Both are different.
i know, you may not agree with some of these comments here, but the article is legit.
[–]DanganFuckery-2 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Oh yeah, I’m aware the article is legit. I’m not disagreeing with the article, I’m disagreeing with the commentors (like you said).
They’re treating it like this single article completely debunks the fact that domestic violence is an issue that disproportionally affects men.
Pretty much every single comment (whether directly or indirectly) has the same underlying message of “Aha! We’ve finally got the proof that women are more violent than men! I knew it all along!” And they say this while ignoring the fact that the amount of sources that disagree with them far outnumber the sources that back them. It’s hypocritical, like I said. That’s all.
[–]PeaceMaker_69692 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Why could that be... lets say maybe, maybe because its a mens right sub. Most males here have been a victim of unjustice at some point in their lives, likely never had the support they needed, unlike the countless articles written for women. So when they see an article like this, its like a breath of fresh air. Because now, they can show some people what the've gone through is backed up by science.
Its not a sub to shit on women, its about men telling their side of the story.
[–]__pebble____9 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
I like how you show none of those sources
I very much could. Usually I get like 40 downvotes and no replies, so it’d be pointless to waste my time on a bunch of silent disagreers. But since you seem to think I don’t have any, I’ll list some.
National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (link) puts it at 1 in 4 women (25%) to 1 in 9 men (11%) as victims of severe domestic violence.
Domestic Violence Research (link) says 23% of women and 19% of men experience domestic violence at least once.
Women’s Aid (link) lists that 77% of domestic homicide victims are female (and that 96% of all perpetrators are male).
A separate article also by Women’s Aid (link) states that 91% of injuries because of domestic violence have female victims, and 83% of repeated cases (listed as 10 or more separate incidents) have female victims.
Valparaiso University (link) says that men are the perpetrators in roughly 90% of straight relationships.
The Guardian (link) puts it at about 2 in 5 domestic violence victims being male.
A separate article by the Guardian (link) says that 28% of women and 15% of men experience domestic violence at some point. It also says 22% of women experience non-sexual partner violence compared to 9% of men, and 21% of women compared to 10% of men experience stalking.
The CDC (link) lists that 1 in 5 women compared to 1 in 7 men experience physical violence, 1 in 5 women compared to 1 in 12 men report sexual violence, and 1 in 10 women compared to 1 in 50 men report stalking by a partner.
I know you’ll be quick to call bias, because two of these came from a website with the word “women” in the url (shocking I know), but I literally took every top result on Google I could find that had clear statistics from both sides. These are all reputable sources, and while the numbers change a little bit (especially because they were written at different places/times), not a single one puts male victims at a higher number than female victims. Not only that, but this is just instances of physical violence. I didn’t go into the fact the women are at an even greater disproportion of sexual violence, and that domestic violence against women is far more likely to result in hospitalization or death.
I’m not saying men aren’t victims of domestic abuse. I know they are, and I think it sucks how much we like to pretend it doesn’t happen. But it’s disingenuous and downright disrespectful to treat this as an issue that is the women’s fault, when more women are living through this nightmare than men are right now.
[–]__pebble____3 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
The fact that you defend articles that have a clear bias towards women, and stray the farthest from the information of your other sources shows you might have a bit of bias yourself.
And I’d love for you to show me one person that was saying women aren’t victims of domestic violence.
But other than that, thank you for actually being able to back up your claim. Most people who make claims like that just argue and never show any sources.
[–]GrinningPizza3 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
It lines up, because the highest rates of domestic violence are between two female partners. And yet you are still trying to blame men?
[–]DanganFuckery0 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Source?
[–]Clemicus3 points 4 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
Tbh I'm not completely sure that's true. The figures probably vary widely
Maybe this is a start: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-29994648
...
First result is a PDF: https://www.google.com/search?q=US+Centers+for+Disease+Control+same+sex+domestic+violence
https://news.feinberg.northwestern.edu/2014/09/carroll-domestic-violence/
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25189218/
lesbian couples exhibit the highest rates of domestic violence. when we're talking about perpetrators, the "hundreds of sources" aren't as relevant.
this is not actually true. but these men are acting like they care about women being violent to other women. they ignore male violence cause it doesn't fit their agenda.
this is not actually true.
How so?
they ignore male violence cause it doesn't fit their agenda.
So bringing up female aggression is ignoring male violence? You're deranged, get some help.
you say hundreds of sources aren't relevant but they are. there is no concrete proof lesbians or even gay men have higher rates of domestic violence than heterosexual couples.
bringing up female aggression then saying it is more common than male aggression IS ignoring male violence. you are not just bringing up female aggression here. you are implying it happens more often than male. and it does not.
you say hundreds of sources aren't relevant but they are.
If we were talking about victims, it would be. But today we are not talking about victims, or even perpetrators for that matter. We are talking about aggression.
Argue the source.
it is about perpetrators. what are you on about lol?
It's "Women more aggressive to partners than men" not "women are more likely to be perpetrators." But if it was, it'd prove my point more.
you had no point.
Which means you are arguing with me for literally nothing. Go pick a fight with the people that conducted this research. I'm just here to provide the commentary and keep track of these.
