Yeah, I noticed that too regarding dating. But more as in they say one thing and want another.

Like a woman saying she wants a leader type and dominant man, alright. You can like what you like. But then she never let's him lead but the only reason she got with him is because she was attracted to the leader aspect. Just boggles my mind.

Also reminds me of people saying men are sexualising women through OF accounts...yet will praise women for sex work. How does that even work? Its like hating on people who do weed but be fine with the actual weed dealer. You do notice that it goes hand in hand, you can't praise OF models but hate on the men who watch because they are sexualising women. She's sexualising herself yet they coddle her and tell her she's a boss babe.

It's because these tend to be queer women. This is how they tend to think:

They're anti-patriarchy feminists, so to them, the only sexuality that is not allowed to gaze at who they find attractive are straight men. It's totally fine with lesbians gaze at women, etc.
They tend to value women over men, as they tend to be more attracted to women than men. So they date women for the romance and intimacy, then fake date wealthy men to gain their resources. Money, dinners, gifts, etc.

This isn't how straight women tend to be.

all we're asking for is a little consistency and everything isn't a competition. True feminists want equality for all, and for all people to have the same chances as everyone else. Do women still have problems? hell yeah. but does that negate all issues we as men face in a rapidly changing society? no. but somehow its always a competition who has it worse. why can't we just be more compassionate and work to solve all of societies problems, together. and supporting equality doesn't mean constantly shitting on others
