I got flagged down by a woman on the highway at night in the middle of nowhere. she asked for a phone to call for help with her flat tire and 2 girls in the car. She appeared sketchy, druggy, and scheming to me, like her BF would ambush me. so I said I dont have service and you need to learn how to change a flat, bye. how does this relate? well why do I feel the need to help her? like shame or guilt? I simply dont want to bc shes sketchy. and like this post articulates, you are damned if you do damned if you dont. dear women, the task of changing a flat is simple, you dont have to be strong or intelligent but have to have a logical understanding of how tools work - the jack, wrench, leverage, and secure ground. are u capable or are you too stupid, weak, or lazy?

I’m kinda repulsed by this. I’m a feminist and consider the amount of hate towards feminism a shame; understandable if the above is what you’ve been exposed to, but still a shame. There’s several different Feminism trains of thought and I don’t subscribe to the above one. Feminism (in my books) is supposed to basically be equality with an understanding or focus that there’s been sexism at women historically, societally, etc. My book of feminism includes parental rights not based on gender, and accessible affordable sex health and education for women, and challenging gender role stigma for men, and heavily encouraging men to explore emotional intelligence and mental health work, and challenging bias of women in power roles, etc. Please don’t think feminism is BS if you only know this posts kind. There’s a lot more to it than that fighting for all parties sides.
