How do MRAs feel about the insult "cuck"?

It's got all sorts of terrible implications when you actually think about it. The logic behind it manages to be degrading to both men and women. It can basically be defined as "a man so weak he can't even control a woman" which should horrify MRAs and feminists equally.

I personally dislike it because I almost always see it used by arrogant YouTube commenters or channers who think the word is a bombshell argument-ender. I feel the same way about the words sheeple, libtard, and butthurt.

I'm not sure that I totally understand how the term is thrown around. On the one hand, it seems like an insult to men who aren't manly enough. On the other hand, the men's rights movement questions and critiques those traditional notions of manliness. I feel like it's more of a MGTOW term tossed around these parts, but maybe I'm wrong.

There is nothing wrong with men not "manning up," but this term seems to be thrown at white knights for not doing so. So I am confused.

No idea how the fuck something so specific became a general term of abuse. Stupid, if you ask me. Not too keen on "based" as a compliment, either. It's all getting very abstract -- they'll be using "apple" and "radiator" next.

I agree with lots of the sentiment in the comments. I would add that I think it use gets the MRA community troublingly close to espousing in alpha male/beta male mentality, which I think is problematic. MRAs should be advoacting for the rights of men generally, not arguing about who is alpha and who is beta, which is irrelevant.

It doesn't make sense. Cuck refers to sjw types who white knight and cow-tow to women's machinations, but I don't exactly see women flocking to the opposite side either. So I'm not exactly sure how they're being cucked exactly.

It can be used to identify false friends. A lot of people have a gripes with feminism that have nothing to do with men's rights and more to do with their political ideologies. They are the ones who tend to use it.

Men's rights is nothing if it isn't about helping all classes of men.
