It's tough sometimes, it really is. We live in a world where women (and sometimes other 'minorities') are treated so much better than men ever have been, but continue to complain about how they're oppressed and all men have it easier and that were privileged. Men can't say anything about being sad or, dare I say it, being oppressed. I know that we are oppressed. It honestly just feels weird saying that even though I know it is true. I guess the brainwashing is hard to break free of as a teenager, since that kind of stuff has always been around me and my generation) but they still try to brainwash it into our minds that they're so oppressed and that we're so privileged.

It's honestly not a surprise that more men than women kill themselves these days because of how we're treated. I'm not suicidal, but all of this kind of stuff does make me depressed (and even a little agoraphobic), that we live in such a shitty society, and it's continuing to get worse for us, and we can't even say a word without being laughed at and mocked.

Sorry if this kinda thing isn't allowed but I'm curious how everyone here deals with depression, when it's (at least partly) caused by stuff relating to this sub.
