Hear me out here...I'm a pretty normal guy, good job, handsome, easily get laid. However, I can't help but resent women. They just have it so easily in life, they always need to be protected, their rights are always the ones being looked after, they're always the ones who need to be advanced, coddled, pandered to..they need to be paid more, treated better, promoted more often. But it's just like they're playing "make-believe" because they're not expected to have any of the responsibilities that come with "being a man". They're not expected to pay the mortgage or take care of the kids' tuition or make sure the family doesn't become homeless. It seems all of their triumphs are for them and for them only.

Whereas I on the other hand, need to be the protector. I need to bust my ass every day so I can spend all of my money on this person (who has their own job! but gets to save all of their money and do as they please with it and if I have anything to say about spending habits then I'm being manipulative and controlling).

Men are EXPECTED to work, they constantly get put down and belittled, don't get to show any emotions, don't get to be "protected" or "looked after", get sent to war, get maimed in a workplace accident, commit suicide, deal with abuse, face the possibility of homelessness and no shelter (women's shelter, kid's shelters - men's shelter? HA! man up!) we have to carry all of this and then be appreciative when we get a date with some "queen" talking about how she's strong and educated and worked her ass off ("but you're going to get the bill - aren't you? you're a man, after all, aren't you?") to have what she has (but still expects you to earn more, and by the way, is going to change jobs 2 or 3 times in your first year of dating and expect you to carry her over, because, well, now that she has you, she can focus on what she really wants to do...which is...? fashion merchandising...??)

so, men, how do you not resent women?
