Thanks. Ironically, this sub is often listed on lists of "hate subs" that sometimes circulate on the internet. We do try to keep a balanced view, but we are firmly against censorship, which means it's often easy for trolls to come in and make people think that we are misogynistic pigs.

Southern Poverty Law Center has listed this subreddit as hate speech. I stopped donating to them because of it. I’m waiting for them to list Twitter as a hate speech platform as well, but there is so much stigma about men speaking about their needs, rights, and mistreatment so they call this hatespeech because some people come here who are not civilized in their way of expressing those feelings and nobody tells them to shut up.

I'd say that there are too many comments that make negative and biased generalizations about women, and they are getting too many upvotes. They aren't many, but too many. A few biased comments alone can be enough to make somebody make a negative generalization about the whole sub.

Otherwise the atmosphere is amazingly rational. And that's rare anywhere where people discuss social problems, let alone on social media.
