I've always wondered this question. Whats the distinction between a man who violates a woman to have his way with her and one that doesn't. It seems to be a high sense of respect for women in a homogeneous culture .

I watched awhile back called the kingdom of women which completely shook my foundation of what I thought to be true . It led me to the world of anthropology where I became obsessed with reading about other cultures that were so different of one based on judeo-christian values. The Mosuo is a matrilineal/matriachary where on its face seemed sexist to me as women were the only ones owning business's and property but their outcomes were much better . The head of the family can't be a man and a woman makes the final decisions. There's many aspects that are diametrically opposed to judeo-christian values but the most surprising one is that there is no word for rape in their language because the concept doesn't exist .

There's quite a distinction from having a low amount of rape , no rape and the concept not even manifesting in the culture . The Mosuo men view women so highly that the distinction between your mother and another women is quite small. I will mention that the Mosuo is very small being only numbering about about 50,000 so one may suggest the number is too few for concepts to manifest but when at their speak they were well over 300,000 . I find it hard to believe that since time immemorial the concept or even the word manifesting is not present with such a huge number .

The worst acts upon women are mostly seen in places where the animosity for women is high based off how they ought to behave . Honor killings/Acid attacks happen in primarily religious places where it's not simply a act against the society prescription but it's an act against God. I know many men who feel indignant just hearing a woman was promiscuous or wearing something he believes she shouldn't have worn whereas in the Mosuo culture women are free to be as promiscuous as they want without shame.

It seems that a culture in which women dictate the perception , along with the homogeney and high sense of respect leads to this type of culture . Do you think a culture that values women highly that is homogenized the reason why rape has never surfaced , do you think 300,000 can be expanded to millions of people in a homogenized society and would you want to live in a society dictated by women ?
