As a woman, r/mensrights always interested me, but was quite difficult for me to fully grasp. As of a month now, I have been living with two guys. When I first moved in, my girl friends asked me things such as "aren't you worried about if they will keep things clean?," "what if they bring home girls and you hear them at night?," "you think they will be OK with your music and TV shows?," "what if one of them becomes attracted to you?" Etc, etc. None of it really phased me, because I feel these things are way more dependent on the individual than the sex of the room mate.

All I have to say is living with men has been awesome. They are totally respectful, clean, funny, and just great overall people. We all have similar taste in things that are generally considered "masculine" (like all of our love of football) as well as "feminine" (such as enjoying Beyonce and musicals). This particular post may not relate to mensrights, but here is to keeping an open mind, PROVING stereotypes are bullshit, and encouraging more situations like my own. I just really wanted to share my experience as a young woman living with two great, caring young men despite many being confused and concerned about my choice. I thought you all might appreciate it.

And as a final note, all those who doubted the success of me living with men have seen how satisfied I am with my living situation and their opinions have totally changed on co-ed living and the "quality" of living with a female vs male. :)
