I was just reading a research paper the other day on trauma, and the need for men's and women's therapies to differ because therapy designed for women isn't as effective on men... I will hunt that up and post it when I can find it.

Was playing minecraft last night with the bros and we got on the conversation of therapy and all five of us stated that it's difficult to ensure we could find a therapist that wouldn't twist us instead of help us. The only one of us that had gone to extended therapy was the one whose parents had mandated it during their teen years. Bit of a sobering conversation.

Those are not "female solutions", they're female privileges that obviously can't be applied on men because they don't share the privileges.

Feminism won't work because too many Feminists are just plain sexist.

Instead of saying "Increase Women's pay", they are saying, "Match Women's pay to Men's" or "Take money from the Men's pay to even out the pay gap".

A lot of them care nothing about equality and just hate all men. Instead of fighting for equality, their goal is to ridicule, blame, and restrict men.

Due to this, they are moving further from equality because they have created a breeding ground of hatred towards men, that ends up causing men to hate them in return.

It is interesting that the entire field of psychology is approximately 75% female. I'm sure a lot of that is due to women's innately higher interest in how people's minds and emotions work. But it's actually worse than that, since the higher up in academia you go, the larger the percentage of left-leaning people there are. This means that the men in psychology are not particularly masculine men, or in any way conservative. They are certainly not working class, either.

From psychology we get social studies, which is around 90% female, and from that we get community social work, which is almost exclusively female staffed.

Community solutions are, by default, looking at the world through a female and/or left-leaning lens. The researchers do not understand a conservative viewpoint, nor do they understand the working class man.

And so this bias finds its way into all the psychological manuals, psychologist services, social services, and government run or funded help programs.

It should be no surprise that "talk-therapy" (i.e. conventional counselling) uses face-to-face comfy chairs, in a quiet office, with tissues within easy reach for mopping tears... because that's what a woman needs. To sit down and talk about it, occasionally crying.

No one actually asked men how they deal with problems.

Male counselling is better using directed action, side-by-side with other men. Where are the workshops where men can build things with other men, and discuss their problems side-by-side without tissues being offered?? Men I know use 100 mile bike rides with other men to vent their personal frustrations and solve their problems. The gym, the treadmill, car shows, almost any other place than an office.

Action. That's how men counsel each other.

It should also come as no surprise that men are viewed as "defective women". "If only men would share their emotions/feelings more, the world would be kinder!"

And then the real cognitive dissonance: "Ugh, men that are emotional are so creepy!"

Men have been viewed through the lens of a woman. No one actually asked regular men how they think, what they feel, and how they solve problems, the researcher-social-worker-government chain just assumed they were women-in-need-of-telling-off.

Hence why we have government sponsored ad campaigns that tell men and boys not to rape. Don't be that guy...

Like, how fucking insulting.

My brother and I never needed telling (by mom, or by dad) not to rape. It's just instinctive. Like:

"Hey son, pretty soon you're going to get some strong feelings about holding your little sister down and forcing your winkie in her woowoo. Don't do it. Just don't be that guy. Be better."

I agree.

Men need male solutions. One of those solutions is to stop listening to female-lens-only-theories.

What problems are you talking about? And what solutions are you talking about? Personally I don't care if a solution is sent down from the goddess of the moon. If it is an effective strategy that is getting results in helping my brothers that are suffering I will continue to use it.

Your generalized post seems to just be promoting arbitrary division.

The solution to all modern-day problems is Islam. I encourage everyone to look into Islam and visit their local, mainstream mosque.

This is the only ideology that still emphasizes traditional gender roles and gives both men and women the rights and respect that they deserve.

The infrastruction, technology and wealth available in the West when coupled with the values, morals and justice of Islam could definitely create a society as close to perfect as possible. InshaAllah.

There are good solutions and there are bad solution and solutions in between. Whatever you are calling "female solutions" are not solutions(for men) at all. Since they aren't targeted at men. Feminism was never about men. Why would you expect a solution?
