In other news, water is wet. Welcome to the world. Women's feelings matter. They deserve "better". But men deserve only whatever they can get by competing and superior competency in socializing.

There's a graph of mentally ill people's fertility rates (that is producing offspring). Women, through autism, depression, anorexia, etc, all score double men on these graphs. You don't have to be good at socializing for a man to like you if you're a woman.

Yeah people say that men can't take rejection. But they ignore that people treat men differently when they get rejected than they treat women.

If you dig deeper, you can pretty much see that not just rejection, but pretty much all emotions from women are welcomed (or at least allowed) by society.

Imagine the following cases

A woman crying in a restaurant or a public place.
A woman shouting angrily at a man in public.
A woman laughing disturbingly loudly in the middle of a conversation in public, which is otherwise silent.

What would be your thoughts when you see those women? Now reverse the genders, and repeat the experiment.

There's very little sympathy for men struggling in any endeavor, although I do think it's gotten even worse when it comes to relationships (see: incel becoming a mainstream term).

There's a lot of stories on reddit of women having fits and beating the boyfriend or husband when he decides to leave the wife or GF yet she still get sympathy for having been rejected.

I've experienced this in real life by getting the just give up entitlement wrap when I was rejected, but when I rejected a girl I was harassed for not dating her. People kept guilting me and literally could not believe that someone could possibly reject a fair maiden.

I asked women for advice after being rejected recently. Some gave great answers, but I also got some horrible ones, who clearly showed how they are abusing the fact that they can always have a guy, while men have to try much harder. Unbelivable manipulative stuff in some cases. It makes me so sad. I had a good long relationship once. I know how different it can be, but people too often choose to be malicious.

Some of the double standard is a result of PUA. They blame guys for everything and fail to hold adult women accountable for their actions. IN some sense they are not too different from feminists.

Yes, this is very true...... Interestingly though, as a man, if you get rejected often enough to become ambivalent towards that rejection, women also find that offensive; I mean, how often have you heard women get up in arms because a guy tries chatting her up, only to literally move straight on after she rejects his advances?

I was standing at a bar once, waiting for my drink when a girl walked up to me and said "Hi, I think you're kind of cute, give me a call sometime" and handed me a napkin with a phone number on it.

The number had an area code that I'd never seen before and I thought this whole thing was really weird, so pulled out my cell and called the number and it was a "dial a prayer" line.

When I got back to my table where my friends were, I noticed this girl sitting with 3-4 other girls looking in our direction. so i pulled out the napkin, showed my friends and told them what had just happened. One of my friends remarked that she obviously had been dying to slip some guy the fake phone number, but nobody wanted her number. We were laughing our asses off at how ridiculous it was.

One of the girls friends stormed over and said "what is so funny!" and I explained that it was pretty pathetic to have to pick a stranger at random to give a fake phone number to. she called us "assholes", which made us laugh even more.

So what I took away from this incident was that for women, rejecting men is a power move...its a boost for their self esteem. and I guess for some women they need to feel that kind of power or they'll create the opportunity themselves to do so.

and in the end, Men are conditioned to expect rejection as a constant background noise in their lives. All the "opening lines" and "First move" expectations fall on men alone, and women enjoy the privilege of accepting or rejecting the overtures.

Flip the coin and reject a woman, and it's like throwing a cat in a bathtub. Shit goes off the rails instantly.

What kind of rejection are you talking about? Employment, family, dating sphere?? If someone rejects another person in the dating sphere, who cares?? People are allowed to decide who they want to be involved with. I am a female who has been rejected by a few males over the years. First dates never turned into second dates. Oh well. I didn’t ask for sympathy or INSIST that the guy who went out with me once be forced not to reject me. I guess I’m Im just not that appealing to the male sex. Nothing I can do with that, now is there?! But I don’t go whinging about “being rejected”. Most likely because I am of an older generation. I hate to say “kids today”...but my guess is that a younger man posted this. My generation didn’t whinge to all and sundry about being rejected. Why not? Because it makes one sound pathetic. Whinging, pathetic, self-absorbed and lacking resilience. My advice? Read some Jordan Peterson and get your %#@$ together.

American adults act like children both men and women, how about each gender moves on when rejected. Probably did themselves a favor in the long run.
