I have been reading this subreddit for a while, and I strongly support most Men's Rights issues. However, there is one issue that I have not been able to find myself able to agree with: the opposition of circumcision, or male genital mutilation, whichever you would like to call it. It seems to me to be a relatively harmless practice, with rather low complication rates. However, I'm interested in learning from you guys, and to that end, I have several questions:

  1. First and foremost, if you oppose circumcision/mgm, why? More to the point, why should I change my mind?
  2. Do any of you agree with me that mgm/circumcision isn't a big deal/is a non-issue?
  3. As a community, do you feel that I am not a "real" MRA if I don't oppose circumcision/mgm?

Note: This post is not meant to be inflammatory in any way, I am genuinely curious/interested in learning about the topic.
