Also Male rape in general has always been taken less seriously, and the idea that a woman can rape a man is a fairly new one that still in most places legally can't happen.

Women commit most domestic violence and child abuse and we don't even count their sexual violence.

Yet, feminists have crated laws and a social and political narrative that profiles men as abusers.

I do get to your question if you have the patience for it, but first:

I think that’s possibly stretching it a bit to say it’s the cornerstone, but it’s without doubt a very important element and often used as evidence for Patriarchal oppression.

If you say “in fact” then you ought really to supply some evidence as to whether or not that really is true. There’s certainly other research I’ve heard of that plausibly argues that the figures are more or less even - example here from The Guardian which states:

3.4% of married women reported a case of domestic abuse over the past year. The proportion of men? 3.4%.

Married men and women were also equally likely to be victims of non-sexual family abuse, while for partner abuse and stalking, a greater proportion of men were victims than women.

I’ve picked that as The Guardian is well-known for its embrace of Feminism in one form or another.

Who’s arguing that women do wield more power? Some people do (I don’t) and they visit here, but that doesn’t everyone does so who do you have in mind?

Also, some (even many) men die in wars and other conflict zones - couldn’t I just as easily reverse your question and ask: "How could males wield more power than females if males are so often physically harmed and killed in combat?”

Also, there’s a really quite dark reason as to why there is a fixation by some Feminists in particular on rape and sexual violence.

Your conflating two concepts. "Privilege" unearned benefits, and "power" the ability to make change.

Men wield more power than women, but by and large we use that power to the benefit of women. This creates female privileges where they get the benefits of men's hard work with out actually earning it.

Also, your "facts" are wrong. More men are raped than women. More men are victims of DV. More men experience sexual violence than women. It's just that society at large doesn't care nearly as much when these things happen to women. This greater care about women's safety is an iconic example of men wielding more power with police and law, and using it to privilege women.

There are also two different bodies of research into domestic violence. One, championed by feminists, supposes a primary aggressor and measures violence "in context" which opens a wide avenue for researcher bias to influence results, especially as a patriarchal culture is assumed as part of the context in these studies. The other, which uses the "conflict tactics scale," focuses solely on actions.

The feminist model, unsurprisingly, finds that domestic violence is well over 90% male->female.

The CTS results are very different, finding ~25% of relationships are violent, ~50% of violent relationships have reciprocal violence, where both parties engage in violence, and have varying results as to whether women are more likely to be a sole abuser or whether there is rough parity between the genders for sole abusers. It should be noted that when you break down violence by severity, male->female violence does (on average) have more severe effects compared to female->male violence. This is to be expected given the relative differences in strength.

Feminists criticise the conflict tactics scale, generally claiming that the numbers for female abusers are explainable as self-defence. This stretches credulity given the large incidence rate of women found to be the sole violent party by the scale.

Women are not more vulnerable to domestic violence. Domestic violence is not a fence issue. Both men and women are just as likely to be victims.

If men were given this same survey, the results would be the same. If you have sex when you are drunk, you were raped according to this survey.

Men tend to be physically more powerful, but abusive women choose to be with passive men, and almost every man I know has been physically assaulted by a women at some point in their lives, and NONE of them have reported it.

A woman doesn't have to be stronger than a man to harm him, she just has to be willing to do it and think that she'll get away with it...which in every case, she will. If the man defends himself, he will go to jail.

Here's a good article pointing out that the majority of male violence it against other males. Males and females are EQUALLY as likely to claim to have been the victim of domestic violence.

It states that 44% of lesbians report that they have been the victim of domestic violence.

As for rape, most men don't know when they've been raped. Women sometimes ply men with alcohol and get them to their house when they are too drunk to make it home alone. They then either try overtly to have sex with the man, or wait until he sleeps and climb on top of him.

Men usually just blame it on the alcohol and may feel shame because they aren't attracted to the woman at all. They cannot report it to the police because it will go nowhere.

The point is, you don't have to be stronger to victimize someone with violence or rape.

Why do you think this? Lesbian relationships are more violent than heterosexual relationships and where women are hurt in intimate partner violence with a man they are more likely to have been the instigator, to have used weapons, to have used ongoing psychological and physical abuse against their partner and to have made threats.

Women molesting children has gone unnoticed for centuries, because women and men turned a blind eye.

The rates keep breaking the rates of last year as more and more cases are being taken seriously.

Women are more likely than men to molest or kill their own child.

If women ever had a slightly higher rate of being raped, it is only because they were physically weaker in the past vs men, or because they were victims of poverty level areas where crime was being committed to everyone. Rape is about sexual desire and release, and is an evolutionary tactic, regardless of what people claim about it being "about power". Rape plants your babies in the women of your enemies, cutting those men off from their future. Heard of Genghis Khan? Something like a million people alive today have his genes for a reason. Rape is as much about evolutionary winning tactics as it is about immediate sexual gratification. We're trying to stop rape now.

If men didn't care that women got raped, and if women were really powerless, the men who make laws would never had made anti-rape laws, which incidentally have existed in the western world since 1200. As a rule, men don't want women raped.
