There we go. Something was fishy from the start. A few privileged white female "intellectuals" caring all of a sudden about the masculinity they worked so hard to destroy for the last 50 years? Back to the plantation, plowhorses, and swiftly. That's le mood du jour. Your labor, disponibility and, ultimately, expandability are all they care about.

The real issue? More and more men are working on themselves to be fine...without women. And it starts to show. They are not panicking yet but it's slowly coming. Walk away. Take care of you, young men. Be selfish for once.

In short, according to the author, politicians are not really trying to address real issues men are facing (because they do not exist, wink, wink), but are only pandering to the entitled privileged white men when they talk about men's issues. Be attractive, be tall, have money, be a tireless sex machine = masculine.

Be unattractive, be short, don't have money, be a dicklet = incel.

Stay in the middle of looks and money: normie cuck.

You are naive if you believe that masculinity is something that is defined by men, but not by women in most of the population.

It is the same wheel that turns and turns and turns and does not stop turning: traditionalism is not going to return unless there is a population collapse that will hardly take effect because the big company has immigrants to import en masse, and masculinity, like femininity, if they fit, will be sold like who sells stock in an abstract and silent investment market.

Man must defend his rights, not deconstruct himself in a kind of permanent self-masturbation of what he idealizes, because man, It will only be exploited as he was, for all the idealism that he has in his head regarding "masculinity" as a concept of defining something that nobody knows how to define very well.

Any grown man who is not low IQ, an idiot, of just a simple minded person over 25 especially learns in college or on their own that/how everything is marketing mainly to WOMEN in terms of commercial consumerism. Or to men from the basic idea that if you get “this” you’ll get women. And also for women to nag their husbands get “this” so your family and home will keep up with the Jones’s. Many people that aren’t well-read or especially women who process things emotionally don’t know how the advertising etc we all know today was started and how it continues to work. And will get “triggered” by things like what I just wrote because they think it’s an “opinion”. When their volumes of books, documentaries and so on about advertising, its strategies and histories. Many of us also have or have had friends who worked at ad agencies and in marketing departments and have seen and spoken about how down-to-a-science it all is at this point. And had been for almost 100 years now. Men wouldn’t do half the things we do when younger as far as spending or wasting money with hopes to “get girls” as we do, or as we get older is these things weren’t ingrained in us by all of this. And unfortunately passed down from our parents who were/are unaware themselves of why they think “everybody knows that” Things like a wedding ring should cost three months of the man’s salary which is from a diamond company marketing campaign. And now is a “you know what they say” general rule after decades of being spread. And all kinds of things like that when you read about or know. All of it is by design for the “economy” and business. Women are more easy influenced and buying all of these things men and people in general don’t need creates profits for companies, jobs, people spending their paychecks and the cycle continues. This all is why the further you go back you see men not needing to be able buy this this and this and do that and that to have a wife and family. Women are the unknowing and useful idiots and main cause of the national debt. But at the end of the day, it’s the “business men” who zeroed in how to increase profits and grow big businesses by targeting the base emotions of women who “think” they’re smart and (mostly all unless in advertising etc) unaware of all the above. Men who wake up to all of this get WAY ahead. Money saved, better spent etc. We for the most part only need a few things we really like and we’re fine. And don’t need to get a “new one” every year or as soon as it comes out. This has always been the case with men in general in history.

A lot of failing media companies are trying to reach out to men, especially after seeing the success of many figures – Peterson, Rogan, etc – who have gained fame and fortune by saying the things that everyone is thinking – but that no one is allowed to talk about anymore – and by not treating men like born criminals. The problem with those jumping on the trendy bandwagon is that they are clearly not genuine. As someone wise recently said: "The singular greatest currency of the 21st Century will be authenticity.". Politico and its ilk are unfortunately the polar opposite of authentic.

I think you bring up a good point about marketing. Feminists will often complain about how on average women earn less than men and that women on average spend more than men. But what isn't mentioned is how women can spend more than men if they're earning less?

The answer is that women are spending money that men earned. Society has set it up so that men earn the money (often by doing hard physical labor and/or working longer hours) while women spend the money (buying groceries, clothes, etc.). Women (especially mothers) are given authority to buy what they think is best for the kids/family for small purchases. Large purchases usually have to be agreed upon. That still leaves women having the some or all the day in most of the family spending. Any spending by men is either tolerated or portrayed as taking money away from three family budget (ie. from children and more importantly women).

Also, note that in marketing things marketed as for men are usually aimed at men, trying to get men to buy them. But many things for kids and/or women are aimed at kids or women trying to get them to get someone else (Dad) to purchase it for them. For example, a lot of jewelry ads don't say "hey! This would be great to buy for yourself." They instead say"This is gorgeous. Wouldn't it be great if someone got it for you?" Not outright, but subtly.

Feminists are the champions of hypocrisy. Decades ago in colleges, they demanded their own 'Gender Studies' departments, separate from the existing sociology, psychology, and anthropology departments of the time. The reason? Feminists claimed that these schools had been contaminated with 'male perspective', despite their overwhelming support for the feminist cause. Now, feminist, who famously hate men, want to speak for them. They claim there is no need for Men's Rights, because feminists already have covered all angles of gender.
