I'm in high school and this is my biggest fear. Also, pretty much every guy at my school had to look up when walking in stairs after recess, so the girls can't say we looked at their asses - > say we raped them.

I think that ANYONE who makes false accusations of this sort should be held accountable for their actions. This is a sick, cruel situation and regardless of those horrible girls admitting the truth, there are people that will forever believe the lie. They deserve at the very least, the same treatment that he got, plus a hefty fine for their parents, if they were minors when the accusations were made.

Of course nothing will happen to the girls. It was a boy he would stay in prison forever being a sex offender registry and he will probably never get off. But the girls will get off scot-free where he would have to spend 10 years or 20 years in prison for false accusations. It is a double standard that has become so evil and so blatant in this country the pendulum swings from one direction to The Other Extreme is sung so far I'm not sure that it's ever going to come back I think it's stuck

Like I said before, this was from 2017. The girls faced no punishment, and the school was sued by the boys parents for it. I don't know what happened from then, but the school maintained that they followed all rules and laws

This is a really fucked up situation but take the identifying factors away for a second.

A group of people identify and have corroborating stories about the criminal activities of person A.

What is a judge and a jury supposed to do? Their stories check out.

The problem is the lack of legal repercussions for the group of people. The first half, legally speaking, makes sense.
