Something we should all remember when fighting Feminism.

The whole point is to fight misandry and double-standards against men. Not all feminists are man-haters, and not all man-haters are feminist. I guess it makes sense to target an ideology that shows more hatred of men than the general population does. But the real threat isn't necessarily feminism. To say that it's our main enemy isn't quite hitting the target. The best way to achieve our goal is to change feminism, not destroy it IMO.

Please don't turn this thread into a giant cirlce jerk about which political theory is better. Noone here really cares if you're a communist, a democrat, an anarcho capitalist, a libertarian, a pirate, etc.

One of my favorite sayings goes something like this: "There's two things you don't discuss with friends and at work: politics and religion"

edit // not to say we shouldn't discuss decisions made that affect the MRM on the political level, but personal debates on which system is better is quite pointless here.

Okay, honest inquirer here. Explain like I'm five. What is feminism to you (directed at any and all here who'd like to answer), what are feminists like, and how are they and the movement harmful? Does anyone feel like there are positive aspects to the movement? Do you feel some of these people are well-meaning or is this something you feel is based upon pure malice towards men? Also, how exactly does one fight feminism? Just discovered this sub and I have so many questions... I'd appreciate all input.

Hello, new to MR. Just browsing some of the discussions hear it seems to me that MRA and Feminist are fighting the same issues from different view points such as sexism. Why do you guys think that everyone isn't fighting to solve such issues for all. It seems like an us vs. them situation? I love this subreddit and I have learned a lot. You all have opened my eyes to new ideas and ways of thinking about things. Thank you.

Fascism today is in the form of Leftism (of which feminism is one component). Leftists certainly do claim to be anti-fascist, but they are anything but.

The first thing to remember is that we're not fighting against feminism, we're fighting for men. This will often put us at odds with feminists, but even then, the ones who oppose us are usually radical feminists and it's important to be able to make a distinction between them.

We're not doing ourselves any favors by claiming to be "fighting feminism" when it's mostly just the fringe lunatics in this group who are really in our way.
