I think this is partially correct. They also have such a visceral reaction to transmen because if men can become women and gender is fluid than the entire SJW edifice can easily come down.

They just want to keep the SJW benefits they have to themselves and see transmen as an attack on that.

That may well be true. But TERFs are attracted and “cancelled” by other feminists because they are seen as not embracing the “trans thing” and not because they hate men.

The main difference is their attitude to trans men vs trans women.

TumblrInAction is a great example of this. What used to be an enjoyable subreddit has been overtaken for a while now by hateful feminists, one of the topics the subreddit used to ridicule for their hatred.

And so instead of transgender activism being just one of many topics that subreddit would talk about, it's become pretty-much nothing but that, all day, every day. It's all the feminists want to talk about.

And to browse that subreddit, you would think 99% of transgender people are MTF. They constantly go on about how transgender activism is just misogyny for the modern age, that it's nothing but bigoted men trying to take over women's spaces, because they hate women. And so on.

It very quickly becomes clear that it's just another outlet for feminists to complain about men being the true evil in the world.

I've said it many times. TERFs and intersectional feminists feel the exact same way about men. It's only considered a problem when their target is women.

TERFs are peak misandry. The violence against trans women isn’t because they’re women, it’s because people still see them as men and attack them without a second thought because they’re still seen as men.

All the things said about trans women is the same stuff said about men. This is especially why I hate that being trans has become a trend and people are masquerading as trans women because it does nothing but make TERFS go “See! We told you they were always men!” And confirms their views on men.

And the only reason they hate trans men is because “You’re betraying the sisterhood”. TERFs are still feminists at the end of the day.

There's no easy way to say this, but trans people are not men or women, they are part of the diverse community of human beings.

Trans-men can't be men because their DNA is female, even if they have testosterone supplementation, surgery and augmentation to give them male-like characteristics; and trans-women can't be women because their DNA is male, even if they have estrogen supplementation, surgery and augmentation to give them female-like characteristics.

In its rush to ensure "equality", feminism has painted women as the equivalent of the aryan race, under threat from all those other impure races and needing special treatment to survive with their purity intact. They have forgotten that inequality is not simply the province of women, but for the entire human race at various times and for various diverse characteristics.

By making this solely about women's rights, they ignore every other human being that is not a woman and their rights as human beings. It's why having a mens rights sub is not the answer because it too excludes other human beings when we should be pursuing fundamental human rights.

It's not only women that need to be protected from assault or even sexual assault in all their forms; or from genital mutilation; or from lack of control over procreation; or from abuse; etc: every human being regardless of their gender deserves the same fundamental human rights. By couching those rights as women's rights, women by default exclude anyone not a woman.

I can no longer sit back and listen to women justifying their attacks on others who don't share their genetic "purity" like some absurd recreation of Nazi eugenics. I mean some have already called for #killallmen, so feminism is already well down that slippery slope to eugenics, in thought if not in action.

I think men have to counter feminists assault on humanity because it is not just affecting men but every other diverse individual who is not a woman. We need to keep forcing things back to human rights improvements, not womens rights improvements, although I think it is okay to use the abuse of rights of men as examples of how it is going so terribly wrong for many not-women, but our ultimate goal should be to enshrine human rights in legislation that have no reference to gender, and to accept the reality of diversity which is a superset and a worthy contender as a group of belonging yet supporting individual unique identity.

TERF is a term coined by transwomen to describe lesbians who don’t consider transwomen real women, and therefore won’t sleep with them. TERF is a derogatory term against lesbians. Lesbians don’t automatically hate men; they’re just not sexually attracted to men. The transwomen (men) who take this attitude toward lesbians are basically incels in women’s clothing. Don’t be like them. Don’t lump all lesbians in with the man-hating types that post on FDS.

This isn't my impression. TERF seems to be a label intended to marginalize and silence feminists who refuse to support the trans agenda.

I don't see it as any hate for men, just an acknowledgement that trans women aren't women. Which is clearly true.

This is true, and has also been openly acknowledged by some radfems in the past, who claimed that feminism is a movement which is supposed to be concerned only with females (thereby including trans men, and excluding trans women).

That said, I also believe one of the main (perhaps subconscious) reasons why they often seem to viscerally despise trans women goes even beyond misandry, and has to do with cognitive dissonance. Because the very existence of trans women by itself inevitably debunks their entire belief system.

If they believe in the characterization of patriarchy as a top-down oppressive system built and maintained by men to subjugate women, and of gender as an entirely socially constructed tool exploited by the aforementioned male-dominated society to coerce women into internalizing their oppression, then it becomes obvious why is it that they cannot even begin to comprehend why trans women are even a thing in the first place. Why would any biological member of the "privileged class" express the need to be seen and perceived as a member of the "oppressed class" and conform to gender stereotypes invented and dictated by men with the sole, specific purpose of keeping women subjugated? Why is it that they would so easily give up their golden Male Card in favour of a deeply rotten deal such as the condition of female perpetual victimhood? That's why they have to try to rationalize away their subsequent cognitive dissonance by veemently pushing the belief that trans women are really just predatory, creepy men who must be trying to pass as the oppressed sex just to invade female spaces, or gain some kind of new insinght into how to better victimize women and then go tell the Menz, or anything like that.

Their hatred of trans women isn't just informed by transphobia. And it's not even just informed by misandry. It's first and foremost informed by their refusal to take into consideration that the very foundation of the conceptual framework they subscribe to could be nothing more than a giant pile of horseshit, and by their reluctance to put that framework into question. I truly think they genuinely feel threatened that someone could point out that inherent contradiction and force them to confront it and try to contextualize it inside their ideology in a coherent manner, but outwardly claim the reason they feel threatened is because "it can expose women to great danger".

TERFs are correct though. Just because you identify as a woman it doesn’t mean they are the same. Lesbians are the main victims of this. I’m a gay man and trans men try to hit on me, but sex and sexuality doesn’t work like that. I didn’t come out of the closet to be forced to have straight sex

I don’t mind being TERF. My own happiness is my priority and I am honest towards my likes and dislikes. I won’t date trans person, period. But at the same time there are hundreds of people who will, so why won’t they be after them? If being honest with myself and the other person, having a preference and standing by the right to have it is a crime… I don’t mind being criminal.

How funny that terfs are the opposite of old feminists.

They want women to be special needs citizen who need help from others. Of course as long as it benefits them.

This includes: -women cant rape -prostitution should be illegal (to control mens sexuality) -fiscal abortion bad because poor children -ban porn because its a degeneracy -women should get Leszek sentences
