That's sickening, and I hope it's fake. If not, it's a newer idea.

My hometown had one of the first school shootings, and I remember shortly after when 'lockdown drills' started to become commonplace. The teacher, upon the alert being given, was to lock the door, drop the window shades, and turn off the lights. Us kids, regardless of gender, were to hide along the side of the room where the possible assailant couldn't see us from the little window in the door.

Hell, the only gender-specific thing I remember from my entire k-12 experience was one day in 5th grade, they separated the boys and girls and went over HIV and some of the worse STDs, for public health. I don't know for sure that the same curriculum was given to both genders that day, but of course us kids compared scandalized notes on the playground later, and they sounded the same.

If this is real and 'feminists' are actually in favor of it...jeebus. Wtf happened to females being just as capable as males? In general, they damn well are...but perpetuating views like this will stunt the next generations of those to-be-women, also to the detriment of the to-be-men...wtf is even the point? Angry-making, to say the least.

Sexism is bad, but teaching kids what to do in extreme situations isn’t traumatizing. Generations have been through bombing drills etc., yet nothing bad came out of it.
