I am from eastern-european country where circumcision in fact does not exist. It has some roots on antisemitism and connecting circumcision with Jews. Often, if the boy have to be circumcised because of medical issues, parents want to preserve so much foreskin as possible to not "look like a Jew". I had to be circumcised as a teen because problems with retracting. Heard sometimes about friends and sometimes their sons with the foreskin issues. We even have offensive word "stulejarz", about boys who are incel because they cannot retract foreskin and being too shy to meet a woman. It is even connected to the right-wing voters.

That's why I really cannot understend your, American idea of fighting with routine circumcision. What's wrong if we remove excessive and not important part of penis to prevent from the problems in their adolesence and adulthood. It is really worth to fight with that? Procedure takes 1 minute for infants and prevent many psychological and physical problems for teens and adults.
