MRAs like gamers are one of the few groups that have successfully and continue to stand up to feminists. Some of them are ideological fanatics who simply cannot allow other opinions on the subjects they talk about to exist and then there are others like Anita Sarkeesian as a perfect example who make money as professional activists and playing the victim constantly and pushing the narrative that women are always victims no matter what.

I really encourage you by the way to check out David Rubin and Joe Rogan who are very good interviewers for this sort of thing, there is also Sargon of Akkad who can give you a general idea of what's going on too. These people hate the fact that all of us stand up to them most of all and they hate the fact we take away the attention of the public from them, that is in reality their main gripe and they use things like women's issues and racism as a way of silencing other people. They don't actually give a fuck about these things, because if they did they'd be on our side but what they do care about is that people always agree with them and that a certain ideological narrative is followed by everybody, they are a highly collectivist group which is why they attacked you.

Lately, particularly because of Trump and Brexit they have been lashing out at anybody who shows the slightest bit of interest in the other side or voices and opinion they don't like and that's why you've suddenly found yourself in this mess like the rest of us.

Feminists have done a great job of convincing the public that anyone who supports men's rights is a misogynistic rape-apologist.

Men's rights activists are also often confused with pick up artists. I think that at least some of the confusion is intentionally created.

To be honest, it used to be pretty shit here. When the slut walk first started there were a lot of conservatives saying a woman wearing revealing clothing around men is like wearing a meat suit in the jungle.

Thankfully it has moved on a lot from that.

Thats not to say we haven't been unfairly portrayed and demonized, there is that too.

Men are scapegoats in neoliberal ideology, its blaming the patsy for issues that are caused by class inequality - which is getting progressively worse due to neoliberal economic policy. Anyone that stands up against that is politically incorrect.
