The same reason most people hate forcibly mutilating the genitals of young girls, despite that most women who had this happen to them also "don't see what's so bad about it" and even support continuing the practice

Basically, "I'm okay with it" is a moot point

No one should be forcibly mutilated for no valid reason, regardless if some men later get used to it, because they can't remember what it was like to be intact and have all their sensations. Others don't "get used to it", and those men can't undo it
No child should have unnecessary cosmetic surgery because his mother wants to make his dick look sexier, in her opinion
No child's introduction to the world should be permanently traumatizing pain, in the off-chance that it marginally reduces the likelihood of a disease

that no child should be at risk of contracting in the first place
that could be prevented with astronomical more accuracy by the use of condoms

Bodily autonomy.

I don't have a problem with circumcision, necessarily. Rather, my problem is the lack of choice. Forcing babies to get the procedure done is a horrible violation of the baby's body on behalf of the parents and medical professionals, at least when it's done "just because" ( medical necessity would be different ).

If as an adult a man decides to get the procedure done; more power to him.

We don't hate circumcision, we hate that it is performed on babies for no reason. If a grown man decides he wants to do it, it's his penis, that's his choice. It's wrong to make that decision for other people.

It doesn't. It has a problem with forced circumcisions against someone who can't consent (ie infant circumcision). The bigger question is why do none of the other subs, who champion and value consent and bodily autonomy, not speak out against it. You might want to troll them, but we know why you don't. You'll get banned so you come here.

You're cutting off a perfectly functional part of a child's body without their permission and your only justification for it is either to point to some stupid backwards religious ritual or to complain about hygiene. If you're going to get offended by my statement, you're the one who asked me to reply and like the MRAs on this sub I can see exactly why so many get fed up talking about it.

I'm not joking by the way, this is literally the only excuses I've seen people come up with for justifying it.

What a dishonest question. This sub doesn't hate anything. Some people who frequent this sub advocate for humans of all genders to have the right to choose, after the age of consent, whether they want to have pieces of their genitals mutilated or altered in any way.

It would be almost as dishonest a question if I were to ask you, "Why do you hate baby boys?"

circumcision is done often in Judaism, which makes sense, but unless you have a more than 70% chance of the guy having health problems in the future, leave it alone.

Because they can only bitch about women so many times, got to add something else to the list of things that are “anti-man”.

I just recently chose to have my son circumcised, i did research on it, which included talking with a friend of ours that work in the field, and her point was that the only people they deal with who have urinary problems later in life or have penile cancer are men who are uncircumcised and they have to get it done at that age. So I decided to have him circumcised now if it could help prevent him a medical issue down the road. And before anyone jumps on the whole “it’s his body it’s his choice”. I’m his father/guardian it’s my job to do what best for him until he is 18.
