I think it's relevant for some 3rd world nations where women aren't allowed to drive or go out without a male escort, etc.

Having the same political rights =/= equality.

For example, the US forbids employment discrimination based on race and people of color have all of the same political rights, yet most people would agree that racism is a thing.

Women still lack equality in many ways. Until they make up 50% of workplace deaths, 50% of suicides, have to sign up for the draft, etc. the work of the women's rights movement will not be done.

Too bad feminism isn't interested in equality, perhaps some day a women's rights movement that actually cares about such things will emerge.

So long as some people (adults) have rights which others do not, there will be a need for some activists to highlight those needs and issues.

In modern Western culture, the reason their has been an upsurge in men's rights activism is simply because in some areas of our cultures men are still legally discriminated against and do not have the same legal rights as women.

If there are some areas where women do not enjoy the same legal rights as men, then obviously womens right's activism is appropriate for those areas of concern.

Absolutely. There are still some situations where women do not have equal rights to men, the most obvious one being the right to bodily autonomy.

The women's rights movement is less vitally important compared to the 1910s for example, but it still is important.

As it stands women have all the rights of men and a few more, minus some of the responsibilities. So no, that movement is not relevant in the modern world.
