Purple pill is just someone with moderately red and blue pill perspectives. We also have blue-leaning purple pillers and red-leaning purple pillers.

For me it's like I'm a woman who found the red pill and couldn't agree with everything that was said but was definitely opened to harsh realities I didn't know...Mainly the "female entitlement" as a destructive force to relationships. Since then I have done a lot of thinking, debating, and research and I have my own opinions and experiences. Some of it leans red or blue. I don't have it all figured out but I'm in a happy LTR where we don't believe our love has a "use by" date and gosh dammit I will love him forever. One part blue pill fantasy, one part red pill knowledge. All parts introspective, understanding, and empathetic.

This place is for debating the merits of Red Pill. Some of us believe pretty firmly in it (red) or are fairly against it (blue). Some agree with some points from one side and some from the other side, hence the term purple.

I don't believe every single thing posted on TRP but my flair is red because I've found I align with them a MUCH more than I do the average blue piller here. Maybe say 80/20. If I was 50/50 or even 60/40 I'd call myself purple.

I'm purple pill.

I think the dating scene is tough on shy men in that there are social rituals of women "testing" men through cheeky banter and jokey little insults, and that people with normal confidence know how to brush these off, but men with low esteem/bad upbringing don't expect them or know how to react.

I think "manosphere" is the only place shy men can find honest talk about this because it's generally too embarrassing and cringey for socially normal people to talk about - I think they are not consciously aware of doing it so don't like having it analysed.

I've also seen the "from confident bad boys to shy reliable man" in couples I know, although I don't think it's about money. I think it's just as often about emotional stability, "beta hugs" more than "bucks".

I am annoyed by how feminist men and blue-pill men online are usually socially attractive, confident, middle class men who's shtick is "I date tons of women, just be like me!" and don't understand those of us with rougher backgrounds and trauma get the worst of the dating scene. (men and women alike).

I think the internet feminist scene needs to look at how so many of the male feminists are just attractive, popular guys who like women because they get good reactions from women.

However I cannot go along with the excesses of Red Pill, I don't care at all about being Alpha, I have more of a feminine side, I'm not interested in guns, right-politics, sport or video games, I've spent my whole life around women I respect, women I've worked out with, worked with, a lot of my favorite musicians, authors, political writers etc are women. I can't go along with the hateful, pro-rape stuff RP is always full of.

It's just whenever I get in the bar/club/dating scene everything I see around me fits the RP stereotype, and all the times I've had success in those areas was following RP ways. Even before I knew what RP was, I lost out trying to talk to women like friends and won being "cheeky and cocky".
