Yes. Traditional societies don't have cold approach culture. Especially in societies where bars and nightlife aren't very popular. People fall in love by being friends first.

Religious areas have church communities. There’s no need to cold approach because there’s an organic way to meet eligible people.

Going up to an attractive women to chat after the church service could be described as a form of cold approaching. i think that's a pretty common way.

Yeah it's less common. Normally you get family involvement at the early stages. At least, that's how it typically is in Islam. Not sure about Christianity - I've never actually met a true Christian before, most of the people I've met who identify as Christian just go about relationships the way most non-religious people do in modern western societies.

In terms of western countries, you can still cold approach. You just have to dial down the intensity. A lot of people think cold approach means you have to be really overt and intense and go for the same day lay, but that’s not the case. Just strike up a conversation on topics that are suited to that community and just keep it going.

I can't speak for other faiths, but I don't see anything in Christianity that necessarily forbids cold approaching.

Christianity is obviously very much in favour of "forming relationships", it just limits sex to marriage.
