Damage control. He's like a Tory politician who's just been caught with a 14yo streetwalker. "Hamstering" is just a tumblr version of spinning, which has been around for donkey's years.

[–]Those_Who_RemainIrrelevant Homosexual8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

He wanted to be 'edgy' (creating 'shock value') and is now dealing with the consequences of it. He brought this upon himself. Yes, this video is partially him trying to hamster it away (especially the 'poor attempt at humour' argument he keeps repeating).

[–]drok007Not white enough to be blue pill5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I agree with your assessment of him. However, it's still not hamstering. Most BPers don't know what hamstering is, I think they just like the word.

He was back pedaling because he was being attacked and he caved like a bitch. I doubt he was justifying it to himself though.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I doubt he was justifying it to himself though.

but if he was, that would be hamstering? and if not, it's just back pedaling and breaking frame and outing his client base as socially awkward.

[–]drok007Not white enough to be blue pill2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Pretty much. Hamstering is harder for men since they are generally held to a higher accountability. Some of the very beta types still attempt it, but it gets derailed quickly. Women are often coddled enough that they have time to get it spinning.

I would say an example of a man hamstering would be Walter White saying he did everything he did for his family, when he really did it for himself.

[–]xthecharacterdoes this dress make me look pretty?!2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Bahahaha.

Hamstering is harder for men

+

I doubt he was justifying it to himself though.

but if he was, that would be hamstering?

Pretty much.

By your own definition, his externality wouldn't change at all if he were hamstering, just his mindset. You literally can't say that the fact that men are held to a higher accountability (arguably not even true, but even if it is, the point still holds) has any effect on the difficulty of hamstering if, to the outside world, he is doing the same thing he would be doing if he were hamstering, and that the only difference is whether or not he was justifying it to himself too.

This is why the idea of hamstering is so sexist. It's because in the RPer's mind, when men justify shit, oh no, it's not hamstering, they're not lying to themselves, it's just an act to get out of a sticky situation. But women are internally emotionally weak and hypocrites, they actually believe the shit they spew.

Sickening

[–]drebunny2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This is exactly what got to me too. If the only difference between hamstering and backpedaling is the actual internal thought process of the person ("justifying it" or not), you'll never know which one someone is doing because you don't know what they're thinking.

I suppose that's pretty classic RP though, assuming they know exactly what women are thinking.

[–]drok007Not white enough to be blue pill-1 points0 points1 point 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Please point out where men do not hamster ever, and please point out where I said hamstering relies on internal consistency solely. It seems like you got your panties in a bunch due to feels and stopped making sense of the argument.

That was cringe worthy. He really shouldn't be apologizing, but I have half a mind to think he's really just doing this for publicity.

This isn't even a red pill, this is black as satans soul.

"Use coercion and threats. Use intimidation. Use emotional abuse."

This is NOT amoral but immoral, he is straight out saying in the imperative mode to do all these things.

None of that is anything compared to the manner women and female culture treat men. Its also preferable to being an incel the rest of your life..

Stop whiteknighting for women. They don't need your help.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

I was never treated like that by women, not even close. Worst was eyes rolled "not interested, loser".

Look, if you see women are the enemy, who need to be coerced and intimated, you are simply not one of the normal people. You are textbook literal sexist. It is not whiteknighting to point it out. I do whiteknight, too, but that is about different issues.

I mean if RP does not lead to actually loving your woman, if you feel you need to coerce her and see this shit as normal, it is NOT a viable strategy. The basic requirement of a viable strategy is to find a willing, autonomous partner who loves you and does not simply pretend to love because she is scared.

I was never treated like that by women, not even close. Worst was eyes rolled "not interested, loser".

So? Others were.

Look, if you see women are the enemy, who need to be coerced and intimated, you are simply not one of the normal people.

What about TRP or PUA suggests men participating in it are trying to be normal? Being normal is what lead them to pain, heartache and loneliness in the first place.

. You are textbook literal sexist.

Cool

It is not whiteknighting to point it out. I do whiteknight, too, but that is about different issues.

That's not something to be proud of.

I mean if RP does not lead to actually loving your woman, if you feel you need to coerce her and see this shit as normal, it is NOT a viable strategy.

I'm curious why you are under the impression you get to determine for other people whether or not their sexual strategy is viable? If I can get women in a way that makes me happy, and they either have sex or join in relationships with me willingly, your opinion of how I did that isn't worth much.

The basic requirement of a viable strategy is to find a willing, autonomous partner who loves you and does not simply pretend to love because she is scared.

Says who? (Ignoring that you're forming wild and unrealistic situations and taking TRP mantra to a criminal extreme)

I was never treated like that by women, not even close. Worst was eyes rolled "not interested, loser".

Others were not! Of course there are emotionally abusive women in the world, that doesn't make it acceptable to be an emotionally abusive man.

[–]AFormidableContenderPurple Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

You don't get to dictate what did and did not happen in other people's lives.

Of course there are emotionally abusive women in the world, that doesn't make it acceptable to be an emotionally abusive man.

If it gets you the results you want, and the life you want to live, nor is it illegal, I'd argue it certainly does.

[–]hopefullyhelpfulplz1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

I'm not trying to dictate what happened in anyone's lives, but saying that some people have a bad time doesn't mean that all/most women are emotionally abusive.

Well, dude, if you think that it's ok to abuse people to get what you want, you're a psycho, but sure I can't change that you're right.

[–]AFormidableContenderPurple Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm not trying to dictate what happened in anyone's lives, but saying that some people have a bad time doesn't mean that all/most women are emotionally abusive.

No one said anything about abusive. You said that. As far as RP and myself are concerned women are emotionally solipsistic, which is not the same thing.

Well, dude, if you think that it's ok to abuse people to get what you want, you're a psycho, but sure I can't change that you're right.

Who said anything about abusing anyone? You use the word "abuse" far too liberally...

[–]hopefullyhelpfulplz0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

This isn't even a red pill, this is black as satans soul. "Use coercion and threats. Use intimidation. Use emotional abuse."

Here's the abuse term, and your response

None of that is anything compared to the manner women and female culture treat men. Its also preferable to being an incel the rest of your life..

That's where I'm getting "Use emotional abuse" from. In fact that suggests that women are doing something worse that emotional abuse.

[–]AFormidableContender1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Oh, right. Forgot what thread I was in. Yea, I'd agree; emotional abuse, threats, or coersion requires the acknowledgement that those tactics are worthwhile endeavors to "wrangle" someone. Solipsisim and the total lack of existential acknowledgement is far worse...

Killing someone is a kinder torture than solitary confinement.

What part of the video would you label as hamstering?

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 10 points11 points12 points 11 years ago* (59 children) | Copy Link

"never my intention to offend anyone in anyway"
"my intentions were never bad"
"a lot of it got put out of context"
"horrible attempt at humor"
"that's where a lot of the confusion is coming from"
"you can make anything look bad"
"i thought mocking it (the abuse chart) would be funny"

he's not owning up to his actual/real intentions, behavior. he's spinning like a hamster. is this superficial hamstering merely for show, self preservation? i.e. he knows he is lying, maybe, who knows. is it only hamstering if the hamsteree totally believes what they are saying (i.e. julian blanc really believes all the statements above are true)? or is it merely about the act of uttering false rationalizations whether or not the utterer actually believes them. if you don't believe the lies you are spinning, is it gaslighting and not hamstering?

[–]ThorLivesSkeptical Purple Pill Man1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I think hamstering means rationalizing your actions to yourself. I don't believe Julien believes anything he's saying in the video. He's in damage-control mode, like every celebrity that gets caught cheating. He doesn't like all the negative attention he's getting, so he's making excuses that are designed to placate society.

[–]FollowThisAdvice1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How do you know this though?

[–][deleted] -4 points-3 points-2 points 11 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

"never my intention to offend anyone in anyway"

No

"my intentions were never bad"

No

"a lot of it got put out of context"

Not in a million years

"that's where a lot of the confusion is coming from"

Nope

"you can make anything look bad"

No

"i thought mocking it (the abuse chart) would be funny"

Eh, I can see why you would think this is hamstering but no.

I'll give you an example of hamstering: You're on a strict diet, you see a cake and since you have no self-control you eat it. You'll come up with a bullshit excuse like "One cake won't make me fat" or "Cheat day!". Hamstering is doing something then coming up with an irrational, bullshit excuse as to why you did it in the first place.

Julien Blanc is simply apologizing for what he did, there's no hamstering at all here. Oh and as a side note, this totally was an empty apology, he doesn't fucking care about it and apologized just to appease the crowd.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 5 points6 points7 points 11 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

So what term fits this behavior? Spinning?

He dissed his client base in the interview, how does that benefit him? Why would he knowingly do that? Do you think he appeased the crowd? He just looked like a bad liar who doesn't care much about his clients.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

So what term fits this behavior? Spinning?

I don't know I'm not really into the whole TRP lingo.

He dissed his client base in the interview, how does that benefit him?

He didn't really diss them, the people who go to his seminars know damn well they're social retards and are trying to fix it. If you knew you were a twat and someone called you a twat, would you be offended?

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 3 points4 points5 points 11 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

red pill types don't seem to like to be called narcissists and many are so i would say most people don't want their negative aspects broadcast publicly. and now going to one of his seminars is a public admission of being socially awkward more so than before.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

TRP is essentially a self-improvement subreddit.
Why would a narcissist attempt to improve themselves?
People get invested subredditd like TRP because they feel they're lacking in some faculty.

TRP encourages greater self-interest, but that's in comparison tp a society that encourages men to heap attention and affection on women who have not earned it, at the expense of the man's own self-esteem.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

because they want to maintain/improve their perceived awesomeness. by your logic a female narcissist would not wear makeup, do you hold to that view?

where is the evidence that society encourages men to heap attention and affection on women who have not earned it? or was this how your parent's relationship was?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 11 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

Sartorial choices (which I consider make-up to be a part of) and making intrinsic changes to your personality and behaviour are two different things. Your intrinsic personality and beliefs are most people's perception of who they are. What you choose to show the world is a projection, influenced by your intrinsic aspects, but not part of them.

Changing your "self" and changing what you show the world have different connotations in regards to self-perception.

By your logic, someone is narcissist because they wear clothes that look good on them.

In regards to your second point, my father was the opposite of that if anything. Look at any romcom, compare the amount of women who are essentially household names directly for their physical appearance to men who are the same.

A logical extension of the feminist narrative that women's achievements are overshadowed by their looks relative to men, is that a highly attractive woman has similar social currency as a high-achieving man. Combine that with the onus that is placed on men to approach and display value to attractive women and what do you get?

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

compare the amount of women who are essentially household names directly for their physical appearance to men who are the same.

so you are saying male actors are not as attractive as female actors? i agree a male actor is more able to get away with being unattractive but it's still not common. there is also to a lesser degree the female equivalent of the funny unattractive male lead, roseane, the bridesmaids actress, etc.. furthermore, is the beauty gender currency divide changing? what about metrosexuals? is that good/bad?

[–][deleted]1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I wasn't saying that. I was talking more about people like Kim Kardashian or Kate Upton. There are no equally well-known male equivalents of women like them.

You make a valid point about actors though. I can think of two female actors trading on the "schlubby female" (and one of them is the "bridesmaids actress", by which I think you mean Rebel Wilson) thing, but many many more men. I don't think this is changing. You just have someone else doing what Roseanne did, not more people. With female physical attractiveness being as important a part of being female as it is, it takes a certain level of confidence to come out and say "I'm physically unappealing, but what of it? " and really mean it and actually play up to it. Most people don't have the self-esteem for that.

Metro-sexuality is a personal choice. I've got no real opinion of it, but it's generally commented upon as if it were a mild absurdity by men and women alike.

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man-4 points-3 points-2 points 11 years ago (47 children) | Copy Link

He is not the same person you see in his seminar videos. I figure he was under a lot of pressure to take that beat down like a bitch or else face greater consequences. I think he was under a gun.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 7 points8 points9 points 11 years ago* (46 children) | Copy Link

You think people will want to go to the seminar of someone that folds like that, doesn't hold frame? and refers to his clients as mostly socially awkward? He's trying to make himself look good, salvage his social image, at the cost of reality and even his long term best interests (dissing his clients). Isn't this what happens when a girl tries to rationalize her poor behavior and winds up looking even worse for not being honest.

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man-2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (45 children) | Copy Link

He rubbed me the wrong way in the first place if I'm gonna be honest. He has said a few things I don't necessarily agree with. Then again, he also has a lot of good stuff to say, too. I guess what I mean is I wouldn't spend money to go to his seminars, or any seminars about dating really, but he's a cool guy and he has a lot to offer.

I don't believe he folded so much as was forced to take all that on camera. He's not a beta. He was under a gun. I'm telling you that you're looking at a man who had been threatened to within an inch of his life if he didn't comply.

I don't see what he did as hamstering. I think he was forced to say what he said, and it was killing him inside, but he really had no choice.

Btw, he doesn't diss clients, he points out exactly what is wrong with their behaviors if they want to be successful as far as attracting more outgoing women goes.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (44 children) | Copy Link

I'm telling you that you're looking at a man who had been threatened to within an inch of his life if he didn't comply.

c'mon, that's ridiculous. he didn't even need to do that interview. he's feeding the story, keeping it alive, by even responding. his dissing his clients made the whole interview a bad business move too.

going to a seminar to learn something is different from going to a seminar because you are socially awkward. even if the latter is true, he's added a negative image to the people who go to his seminars which will scare away clients.

again, how did he not have a choice? and how is his situation better after that interview?

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man-2 points-1 points0 points 11 years ago (43 children) | Copy Link

What makes you think he would do something like this for any reason whatsoever? It's an all around bad move. He was forced to do it.

He was forced because he pissed off way too many people with his overt aggressive masculine displays. Basically, he was attacked for being too much of a man and speaking too much of the truth. He let the beast take control and forgot all about being human at some point in his career.

Basically, he went full retard in Japan and that made him a shitload of enemies. He was on the radar right before, but his recent actions made him a priority for those who don't want a man like that to be successful. If they allowed his antics to continue, they knew it would be bad for maintaining the status quo.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 4 points5 points6 points 11 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

He was forced to do it.

how so?

[–]RedPill4LYFHeterosexual Red Pill Man-5 points-4 points-3 points 11 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

He became too well known for what he was teaching when he caused that controversy in Japan. The Feminist mafia had to make an example of him. So they forced him to do a 180 on TV. It was the only way to convince the herd behind him to question everything they had learned.

[–]taiboworksrational idealism > toxic egoism[S] 8 points9 points10 points 11 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

forced him by inviting him for an interview which he voluntarily agreed to? that's so sinister. this was probably the highlight of his life, not that he shined in it.

[–]RedPill4LYF0 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Why? Why would he sabotage his cash cow like that just for more of the same kind of attention he was already getting? Your logic doesn't make sense. It's obvious he was coerced. This wasn't about attention.

[–]Will_Im_Not4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

more of the same kind of attention

But he isn't getting the same attention, now he's on TV and trending. Before he would only piss off some people on the internet who are already into that kind of culture.

Why would he sabotage his cash cow like that

Any publicity is good publicity. People are willing to do all kinds of insane shit to be famous. Kim Kardashian made a sex tape and then sold the rights to it for $5 million. People have drank donkey sperm on Fear Factor. People will intentionally act like doofuses and assholes on reality TV on a daily basis. Going to an interview on CNN willingly is not that far of a stretch.

RSD has been in the news before. This isn't about validation and attention.

Yes, people will do insane shit to get attention for their brand, but not when it looks like he's scared for his life. That tells me something else was going on behind the scenes and it should tell you something similar as well.

because attention seeking behavior is often not rational, often not in the best interests of the person that compulsively engages in it. it's like asking why people do heroin when it causes so many overdoses and ruined lives. some people like attention like some people like heroin, even if it sabotages/ruins their lives.

[–]RedPill4LYF-1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Yes, but he already had a means to fulfill his desire for attention. I still reject this as an answer for why he would do that to himself. It's obvious he was forced.

[–]taiboworks1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

when has he been on the national stage, attention wise? that's like saying why would a minor league player want to risk failing by going to the majors. or why would a successful indie artist sign with a major label. if you value attention, you tend to want more more more.

who forced him? and now?

[–]RedPill4LYF0 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

He has become too popular. His messages are reaching too large of an audience. Whoever wants to maintain the status quo, and I'm not saying it's one person, is who did this to him.

[–]taiboworks6 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

how exactly do you think they forced him to do this?

[–]RedPill4LYF-5 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Probably something along the lines of, "Do it or we will kill you."

[–]taiboworks4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

haha, that guy is not important enough by a long shot for anyone to want to kill him. this is your paranoid schizophrenia talking.

[–]RedPill4LYF-2 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Something I've noticed about blue pillers is that they are the last people who can unironically talk from a moral high ground. For people who claim to be more tolerant and righteous, you sure don't seem to have any trouble making fun of people with mental disorders.

[–]taiboworks6 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

i don't buy into the blue pill label. and alerting you to your mental disorder/dysfunction is not making fun of you if you honestly think he was forced into that interview. i urge you to get a therapist to check your irrational world view, thinking patterns with.

[–]RedPill4LYF-2 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I urge you not to be a hatemonger.

[–]taiboworks9 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I urge you to check your view of reality because it's very inaccurate. Do you think I'm just trying to make you feel bad or I actually think your view of reality is off in an unhealthy way (for you) and your life would be better if you fixed, addressed that?

[–]RedPill4LYF-2 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I really don't care what your intent is. You have a real problem when it comes to empathy and understanding for others. We can talk about what's wrong with my head when you can be brave enough to own up to your own faults.

[–]xthecharacter5 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Jesus fucking christ. Says the RP spokesperson. Try having empathy toward the other 50% of the world, who, FYI, aren't playing some weird game with all their relationships and instead for the most part just want to have nice relationships with others and a nice life.

That whole "red pillers hate all women" argument has been done to death. Boring.

[–]xthecharacter4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I didn't say they hated women. I was intentionally more precise than that. But they certainly treat them differently. We've had huge threads here where RPers have tirelessly argued that women are inherently less valuable to society.

Based on what they say and the actions they endorse, RPers in general certainly don't view women as equals to men. They certainly don't treat women with the same genuineness that they treat other men with. They certainly don't understand women and often believe that women are being selfish, subversive, etc. In this exact thread they talk about how they believe men don't hamster but women do, even if externally what both men and women are doing look exactly the same. They make assumptions about women that demonstrate a clear lack of empathy and understanding.

Reverse-namecalling the way you are is honestly just sad. Your dogmatism is biting you in the ass because the shit you are saying here makes no sense. This guy caved and he's doing damage control, backpedaling, using the media to draw attention to himself and probably isn't acting in his best interest because it's hard to do so when so much social pressure is put on you. I feel for the guy, though I do find his teachings reprehensible. Countries have tried to bar his entry. That probably made him feel shitty and he wants his image to be better than that. But nobody's gonna kill him. Nobody's gonna force him to say something on national TV (he doesn't even have to go on, as many have said). People like him aren't impervious to pressure, to missteps, to changing their mind.

It's kind of our thing.

They certainly don't treat women with the same genuineness that they treat other men with.

After taking TRP, I'm more genuine with women now than ever before. I'm very frank about what I think, because I don't care what you think. I'm not thirsty for your pussy, and I know it wouldn't help if I was anyway.

They certainly don't understand women and often believe that women are being selfish, subversive, etc.

Sure we don't, and sure you're not. Fuck understanding us, right?

In this exact thread they talk about how they believe men don't hamster but women do, even if externally what both men and women are doing look exactly the same.

The general consensus is that women are inherently less rational than men overall, and there are multiple reasons that can explain this. Men can "hamster", but this doesn't happen to the same extent as it does with women, which is why it doesn't warrant the usage of the term. You're free to refer to it that way if it makes you delicate female ego feel better though.

They make assumptions about women that demonstrate a clear lack of empathy and understanding.

It's hard to care that much when women are incapable of loving men for who they are.

Reverse-namecalling the way you are is honestly just sad. Your dogmatism is biting you in the ass because the shit you are saying here makes no sense.

I need an explanation.

This guy caved and he's doing damage control, backpedaling, using the media to draw attention to himself and probably isn't acting in his best interest because it's hard to do so when so much social pressure is put on you. He caved because there's a gun to his head. Nobody is going to give a shit or even remember about what he did ten years from now.

It's hard to care that much when women are incapable of loving men for who they are.

I love how you are directly contradicting yourself so many times. I only want to point out one occurrence, because it would be a waste of my time to do more!

You're more genuine with women now after TRP, but TRP is what taught you that women are incapable of loving men for who they are? So...either you're more genuine, and women love you less, or you're less genuine, and women love you more... Or, possibly gasp women aren't across-the-board incapable of loving men?!

I'm done responding to your shit because I've lost interest. Believe whatever nasty delusions you want, bro. Take your need for an explanation and shove it up your ass.

I love how you think that's a direct contradiction and plurally so.

You're more genuine with women now after TRP, but TRP is what taught you that women are incapable of loving men for who they are? So...either you're more genuine, and women love you less, or you're less genuine, and women love you more... Or, possibly gasp women aren't across-the-board incapable of loving men?!

Hey, now you're thinking stuff!

I'm done responding to your shit because I've lost interest. Believe whatever nasty delusions you want, bro. Take your need for an explanation and shove it up your ass.

You can't handle my sexy enormous clit.

[–]taiboworks4 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

What's wrong with my directly telling you that you have an unhealthy distorted view of the world that could benefit from therapy or exposure to more sane minded people? What would be a better way for me to get that across to you?

[–]RedPill4LYF-1 point 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I have many very sane-minded friends and family members who keep me grounded in reality. Among my friends are women. What now?

[–]taiboworks5 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

You really think that julien was forced to give that cnn interview? Have you told anyone you know that you believe that? And what did they respond? If not, please do that. If they are sane and they care about you they will explain why that's not reality and help you figure out why you errantly think that.

[–]RedPill4LYF-3 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Someone that red pill isn't going to go on live TV and apologize for being a man without a gun to his head. Besides, if it's on TV, you're not watching reality, you're watching the version of reality someone wants you to see.

[–]taiboworks5 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

well i encourage you to share these views with people close to you so they can help you to see how paranoid and delusional you are being.

[–]xthecharacter3 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

I think it's pretty clear that he's doing damage control as best he can (which may not be great).

[–]RedPill4LYF0 points 11 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

That's the last place a guy like him would go for damage control. He would just make youtube videos if that's what he wanted to do. He was forced to do and say what he did.

No, it is not hamstering.

You do not understand what hamstering IS.

That is just him being on the defensive in a bad situation.

Also known as Backpedaling.

What hamstering is rationalizing your actions to yourself.

Does he believe the bullshit he is selling? I doubt he gave a shit if he wasn't caught.
