There have been several recent posts about Blue Pill and the so called Nice Guy persona that a lot of PPD men seem to have embraced.

My question is: if you know that being a nice guy doesn't work, then why do you keep behaving like a nice guy? Why haven't you let go of the beliefs and behaviors that are associated with being a low self esteem nice guy who never gets the girl?

If you no longer believe in a concept, then wouldn't it make sense to let it go and adopt different set of beliefs that match closer to reality? I mean although some of us may have been quite disappointed when we learned Santa or the Tooth Fairy were not real, I have yet to meet anyone over the age of 5 who still believes in these two entities.

Yet, millions of men admit to being lied to about how being a nice guy should win women over and yet, they still cling on to these beliefs for dear life. What gives? Are you afraid to give them up? Are you afraid of the alternatives? Do you consider being a nice guy a better alternative to a guy who actually likes and respects himself? What is the resistance exactly?
