I found it really interesting. I have put this in PPD because of the opinions on stereotypes.

Now Ill say find the idea of male shaming a bad thing and try to be mindful of it as I do with other things i might be guilty of but I am stuck in a strange conundrum of not wanting to do it but still doing it ie if im out alone at night will view men nearby with suspicion. My husband said something along the lines of my brain being "hard wired" to fill in the blanks with danger so asking if im being sexist when i do this is irrelevant , its a survival tactic.

So male shaming is bad ( im guessing we'll agree) but lets say we have a hypothetical situation where you are looking to hire a baby sitter. You ring a agency with a good reputation and they tell you they will send along the babysitter for you to meet them and a man turns up at the allotted time, Would you hire him?

I wouldn't and interestingly neither would my husband. Am I a male shamer? Thoughts?
