So I met this cute guy recently and he asked me out. We scheduled a date for next week and have been texting for the past few days. Here's the problem though: I hate texting and am a terrible texter for several reasons

A) I'm an introvert and I feel suffocated making small talk throughout the day. It's especially bad when you like someone because you're nervous about how your texts are being perceived. I definitely over analyze things and think too much about how to respond to even basic questions.

B) I've genuinely been extra busy with work and other obligations the past few days. I haven't even been posting on PPD the past 5 days even though it's one of my favorite procrastination outlets. I obviously do check my phone on a regular basis but it feels mentally taxing to reply to him so I avoid doing it. I really don't want to lose my focus flow.

He has actually been really good about texting me back right away, like within minutes with the exception of the last text I sent him. I waited 10 hours to reply to the text he sent me this morning so maybe he thinks I'm not interested? Before that I would take 4-6 hours to reply to his texts.

I was just hoping to get some feedback from the guys. Do you assume a girl isn't interested in you if she takes a while to reply to texts?
