So I have noticed something. We live in a culture where it's still heavily on the man to pursue and win over the women. That's how books, movies, everything portray it. Even hearing stories from older people (boomers), I hear that the dad had to "chase" the mom. She needed convincing and only liked him more over time (IF it was a successful relationship). It's always the same script. The woman is like, "Oh I didn't really like him at first but I learned to like him over time."

So that is my main question. Is it like this for most men?
