I'm still rather surprised that not even people who clearly care about actually listening to both sides can't get the categorization correct. MRA very much =/= The Red Pill.

[–]stubingPurple Pillz Here!0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This was bothering me so much.

[–]GayLubeOilTrue Red Pill14 points15 points16 points 10 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

It has nothing to do with The Red Pill subreddit. Its about a bunch of fat losers who shit on everything they support by virtue of looking the way they do.

[–]turbotmx 11 points12 points13 points 10 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

these MRAs will never achieve anything because they are perceived weak and asking for help. Weak men are hated by everyone, men and women included. The proper way to fight for male rights is by radiating success and dominance.

[–]GayLubeOilTrue Red Pill9 points10 points11 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I wrote a post saying this exactly and it triggered Paul Elam

[–]itgscv1Leaning MGTOW2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

How does that change the laws? Star athletes, guys in frats, guys going to prestigious universities are being falsely accused all over the world. Articles about this are frequently posted on trp. Radiating success and dominance is no defense from getting your name dragged through the mud in the court of public opinion as soon as your name is revealed by media. Doesn't matter how famous you are, how rich, how hot, how much money.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

How does that change the laws?

It doesn't. It enables men to create value for themselves, in their own lives.

Radiating success and dominance is no defense from getting your name dragged through the mud in the court of public opinion as soon as your name is revealed by media.

No "law" is going to prevent some dumb bitch from accusing you of rape via Twitter. Preventing that would require a monumental cultural shift, which is not going to happen.

[–]itgscv1Leaning MGTOW5 points6 points7 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

One thing mras have been pushing for is anonymity until a court verdict comes down. hopefully we'll start to get some sanity eventually. Enough guys suing colleges, things like hulkster kicking gawkers ass will get people talking.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You can't prevent people from taking to social media and witch hunting unless you censor the entire internet.

[–]itgscv1Leaning MGTOW4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

No you can't, but it would be significantly harder for witch hunts to happen if names aren't released. Many times females are anonymous (ahem "Jackie"), lately there have been some cases where the male has been called John Doe in articles.

This is a good step in the right direction.

[–]turbotmx 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That's exactly why MGTOW is a better alternative.

[–]mrcs84usnFatty Fat Neck Beard2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

by radiating success and dominance

Radiating success and dominance seems counterproductive because if you do exhibit those traits, then you (and by extension men as a whole) don't need help.

From what I've seen, people have to come from what is perceived as a marginalized class and talk on men's behalf. That's why girlwriteswhat, judgybitch, and Milo can be given a platform to talk with [comparatively] minimal flack from the masses. Even Dr Warren Farrell, who was the chair of NOW back in like the 70s, gets shit on for trying to talk about men's issues.

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

The proper way to fight for male rights is by radiating success and dominance.

So otherwords oppress women and fight for a 1950's lifestyle.

STOP OPPRESSING ME

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

But that would mean stop calling out bullshit.

[–]turbotmx 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (10 children) | Copy Link

actually, you're the one posting bullshit. How are success and dominance related to 1950's style women oppression? You are proving yourself sexist if a man cannot be successful without oppressing women in your view.

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Uh nope. You think the only way to fight for male rights is by dominance and showing off success. In otherwords the only way to fight for male right is by traditionalism.

You are proving yourself sexist if a man cannot be successful without oppressing women in your view.

I thought that was TRP department?

[–]stubingPurple Pillz Here!0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

In otherwords the only way to fight for male right is by traditionalism.

Society still values males that are traditionally high value. You need to be a high value person if you want people to take you more seriously. Feminism even realized this early on that they needed a traditionally beautiful girl to be their spokesperson (bring in Anita Bryant) so they can be taken more seriously. Big Red has only be hurting the movement purely due to her looks alone.

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Big Red has only be hurting the movement purely due to her looks alone.

She hasn't hurt the movement as much as you think.

[–]stubingPurple Pillz Here!0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

How do you know how much I think she has hurt the movement? She has done 2 main things: preaching to the choir (which has almost 0 net gain) and she has become one of the ugliest and annoying spokeswomen for feminism (this strengthens people's view of not taking feminism seriously).

[–]findingmrnemo1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Because one she is a single person and one at that that is really only known by a very small corner on the web, that corner largely being /r/MensRights. Her rant didn't exactly go viral much like other noted feminist nutjobs have like Bahar Mustafa or Melissa Click. Then you have feminists like Emma Watson who is also damaging feminism. These women are more noticeable and done more damage to feminism than Big Red did as what they did/said when viral.

[–]turbotmx 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

In otherwords the only way to fight for male right is by traditionalism.

That's your sexist imagination spilling out

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Uh nope. Not the one pushing for traditionalism here. Its ironic tho that a RP would say traditionalism is sexist despite following such ideology.

[–]turbotmx 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

who says RP is traditionalism? Lol, I'm RP and not a traditionalist

[–]findingmrnemo1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Uh me. The whole ideology of RP is traditionalism. You can say your not, but look at what your following ideology wise. I mean you're reinforcing traditional gender roles.

[–]turbotmx1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

RP is nothing but an explanation of how female attraction works, and how a man should act on that information. As a piece of knowledge, RP does not force anyone into any kind of relationships. It is your decision whether you want to continue spinning plates or get into traditional marriage or just go your own way. You can even continue being a beta, if that suits you well.

I for one have decided to forgo marriage completely, as even traditional marriage is nothing good for both partners. The man is forced to slavewage supporting a family for most of his life, the woman is forced to fuck with someone she doesn't love. People who think traditional marriage is ever returning back are delusional

Has nothing to with /r/theredpill and was actually started before /r/theredpill was a thing (by about 2 months). its about mras, and i have high hopes that it might actually bring some attention to mens issues and snub a few feminist that would rather sweep men isseus under the carpet with a patriarchy hurts men to and never actually address mens issues.

[–]findingmrnemo 6 points7 points8 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It has so far pissed off a corner of internet feminists and SJW's actually. It has also pissed off her feminist financial backers who pull their money when they found out it wasn't a hit piece on MRA's. It also made the woman behind this documentary question her feminism and that if she wants to be a feminist due to the outrage she has faced from making this film. Least to say its doing more the opposite but at the same time showing the hypocrisy of feminism in a big way. I actually hope she does a film on the rage and hate she experience and probably still experiences from this film.

[–]wazzup987Blue pill, you can beat me black & blue for it later0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

naw they are gonna black ball it. you wont hear peep out side of some media on the right like brietbart and various commentators like sargon, avfm and the like. but it will be media silence because she defied the sjw clique

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I have no doubt they will. But with the internet and all they be hard pressed to block it totally. And given the increase of anti-feminism of late its just going to hurt them more.

[–]wazzup987Blue pill, you can beat me black & blue for it later0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

oh yeah it will get press from the non and anti feminist sectors for sure. but the big site if we are lucky will only ignore it.

[–]Leinadro2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So far its looking like a real look at the mrm that doesnt suffer from the usual feminist biases most other looks at the mrm have.

Hell if thus documentary can tell the difference between mra and pua then that alone would make it more accurate than what most of the rest of the media has said about the mrm in the last year or so. Its really not that hard to tell the difference and the only people who swear they are the same are those that want them to be seen as the same so they can use the same tacttics to dismiss both (quite lazy to be honest).

Silke Schultz: We live in more of a patriarchy now than we ever did.

...

[–]Wumpus1Gran daddy purps1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

The way that the MRA's and feminists present their arguments should be enough to see who is thinking more rationally.

And did anyone notice how ONLY the MRA rallies/events had protesters and such? The events for women's rights were always peaceful, no one protesting. The men's events on the other hand...there were plenty of angry feminists who spent the time energy and money to come rain on someone else's parade.

[–]midnightvulpine1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think that has much to do with rationality, assuming your assessment is correct. Between there being more feminists(I assume), feminism having more organization and a longer history of direct action passed down through the movement's lifetime and, as I observe it, a lack of much ground work by the MRA by comparison, that might have more to do with it.

[–]Wumpus1Gran daddy purps1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I was talking about how when the men speak, the mention clear, specific statistics, formulate logical reasoning as to why the stats matter and affect people in big ways.

Most of the arguments by feminists are about "patriarchy" "oppression" and other rather vague or opaque terms. I don't think they ever really quoted any stats besides exactly the same ones that have been beat to death already.

[–]findingmrnemo 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

there were plenty of angry feminists who spent the time energy and money to come rain on someone else's parade

Which for anyone that has read up on feminism shouldn't be surprised about. As these protests from feminists show they don't want gender equality (not like they ever did). When one points out these feminists other feminists so often dismiss them instead of taking ownership.

[–]YaBoiTibzzenjoying the blueper reels1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (34 children) | Copy Link

I think it's great that someone is shining light on these spaces in society without the usual awful feminist bias. Even if you disagree with them they deserve to be heard without being demonized beyond all hope before they've even opened their mouths. Ready to see the finished product.

[–]RidinTheMonsterAlpha White Knight2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (33 children) | Copy Link

If it's accurately represented, it will be demonised either way.

[–]YaBoiTibzzenjoying the blueper reels1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (32 children) | Copy Link

I mean being demonized by the same people that are reporting on it. No one has tried to do an unbiased assessment of the MRM on this scale before, so far as I'm aware. Yes of course feminists and whoever will decry it as horrible patriarchal propaganda or w/e, but at least the person presenting the information and the person criticizing it will be two separate parties for once, so that viewers will have a real chance to make up their own minds about what they're seeing.

[–]ProbablyBelievesIt2 points3 points4 points 10 years ago (31 children) | Copy Link

Actually, the usual feminist complaint about the MRM is it's more likely to post clickbait and harass people than actually help any men.

They'll help Paul Elam scam the gullible again before starting a domestic violence shelter for men.

[–]YaBoiTibzzenjoying the blueper reels4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (23 children) | Copy Link

No, that's the sensible feminist complaint. It's not at all the usual complaint. The usual complaint consists of "ermuhgerd muh soggy knees!!!1!1" and little else. 98% of feminists can't be bothered to actually do any research to find out what Paul Elam is really like (and I'm not defending Paul Elam here, fyi)

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

^ yeah if you hang around tumblr...the world is not tumblr FYI.

[–]YaBoiTibzzenjoying the blueper reels4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (21 children) | Copy Link

Dude, most "real world" people wouldn't even know what the men's rights movement is, much less care enough to do any digging about it. I promise you any self-respecting feminist would rather just slap a label on that shit "oh it's just men whining because now they have to share" and be done with it simple as that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

the websites do not do them justice...there are legit mens issues, but MRA is not the group for it... they use double standards to validate why they should get lighter sentences or even no penalty...

i know this because I recently saw a post on the mensrights...a woman finally got a sentence similar to a man, for sexual assault against a minor...and what did they say? 'oh good...but it's too harsh.'

so there you have it...they don't give a shit about mens rights, they literally want to do shit and get away with it. and they use female examples of them 'getting away' with it...but as more posts become comparable to male sentences...you see them show their true colors.

[–]itgscv1Leaning MGTOW4 points5 points6 points 10 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

Pretty rich to see someone against the mrm complaining about double standards, especially in regards to prison sentencing. It is a fact that women get lighter sentences for the exact same crime.

I'm not even sure where you're getting your opinion on the thoughts of the mrm, where are mras asking for lighter punishments or none at all, in relation to what crimes?

What is too harsh? Who's sentence? The way you worded it sounds like mra said the women's sentence was too harsh, which goes against your entire narrative.

Mras have no real issues, like male suicide, the bias against men going to college(60% of college students are female), the drugging of boys in school, the bias against hiring males for jobs (especially stem), divorce/alimony/child support laws, prison sentencing, custody/access to kids, false rape allegations, domestic violence and rape, homeless people (majority male), bodily integrity (circumcision on infant that isn't able to consent).

Fuck all those issues, mras just hate teh wimmenz and want to do evil stuff and not get punished /s

[–]wazzup987Blue pill, you can beat me black & blue for it later0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

actually college attendance is closer to 30% male

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 10 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

male suicide - we have money in research for mental health and we are working to close to stigma.

bias against men going to college - what bias? they are allowed to apply right? they aren't being held back from applying, right? they are given all the opportunities to apply, right?

divorce/alimony/child - all wrong. i actually looked this up b/c i was interested in it.

custody/access - same with the divorce bit.

false rape allegations - a small percentage. maybe we should get those rape kits done then?

domestic violence and rape - yes bad, and they are working on this.

homeless people - blame the conservatives for this one. research shows providing affordable living is very helpful, but your right-wing pals don't want to.

bodily integrity - agreed on that one. i am against ear piercing too on infants.

drugs - this is not a boys issue, girls are being drugged too. it can actually help in some ways if it's done correctly.

those are great issues. too bad i rarely see them on mra...and actually moving towards it.

[–]findingmrnemo2 points 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Man all that bullshit. Did it hurt when it came out of your mouth?

bodily integrity - agreed on that one. i am against ear piercing too on infants.

Of course you have zero issues with baby boys getting their dicks cut because you know there's never been any issues with that despite studies showing otherwis.e

[–][deleted]1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

what part of 'agreed on that one' do you not get? followed by i am 'against' X' TOO.

[–]itgscv11 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

College - women are now the majority of college students. Especially fields like stem women are vastly preferred over male applicants.

Divorce courts - you didn't look hard enough. You should look up David foleys story.

Custody - when are women punished for withholding access to children? How many men are denied visitation just because the ex wants to be vindictive?

These issues are talked about daily on mra sites, as for progress, maybe feminists and sjw should stop disrupting and shutting down and groups or discussion that don't tow feminist dogma.

We see articles about mra groups, or groups like cafe not being allowed to start a discussion on campus because feminist keep saying the groups are misogynistic. Mainstream media constantly lies and slanders mras, how many times has roosh been called an mra now?

Meetings/talks get brigaded, fire alarms a pulled. Find me one instance of a feminist talk that was disrupted that badly by mras.

False allegations are not a small percentage, even if you say 2-8%, which is the number of proven cases in court of law, 20-30% of exonerations from innocence project are from cases like murder/rape. The "small" number assumes anything that isn't a conviction is still rape, i.e. Every single accusation is a rapist regardless of if that's actually true or not.

How many cases like Jackie, Uva, amherst, etc do we need before we start affording men accused of sexual misconduct due process? Right now men have none. Case in point the male from Amherst that received a blowjob while blacked out - the female reported it a year later, and he got expelled. When by all evidence it shows that she was the one performing a sexual act, on someone so drunk he could not consent.

As for rape kits, I is my understanding the hospital needs the persons consent before testing them, otherwise it's part of their medical data and police can't touch it.

Let's talk about the bs statistics feminists are constantly pushing like wage gap, rape culture. These are incredibly damaging to both genders growing up.

[–][deleted]1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Haha i saw the application for CAFE...they lied on so many counts. it's a fraud group.

[–]itgscv11 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

[–]findingmrnemo1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

It's really sad, first time I heard about cafe when when there was that huge protest at u of t with warren Farrell. I decided to see the video of this supposed vile rape apologist, and he's one of the most calm, sensible guys I've seen talking.

[–]findingmrnemo 1 point2 points3 points 10 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

they use double standards to validate why they should get lighter sentences or even no penalty...

No they tend to ask that women be held to same standards of punishment as men for crimes. They dont want the male rapist to get off on probation. They want the female rapist to serve a sentence of hard time.

i know this because I recently saw a post on the mensrights...a woman finally got a sentence similar to a man, for sexual assault against a minor...and what did they say? 'oh good...but it's too harsh.'

What post was this by chance?

Not really. They are just as preoccupied with promoting and defending feminism as that mra reddit is about attacking feminism.

[–]Leinadro1 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

They arent saying anything feminists havent said. Feminists have commented that sentencing for such cases can get over the top.

I think you were just trying to find something to complain about because even if its for a single moment, mras werent frothing at the mouth to destroy a woman for committing a crime.

But you are antimra so I guess that makes sense.

It's a fool's gambit: No one would ever suggest that women get harsher penalties, so they appeal to fairness to get people to come to that conclusion without explicitly stating it.

[–]kick6Red Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

the usual feminist complaint about the MRM is it's more likely to post clickbait and harass people than actually help any men.

you think the "usual" complaint is with regards to generating pageviews on the internet?

[–]ProbablyBelievesIt0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yes. The MRM is mostly irrelevant offline.

[–]kick6Red Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

The MRM isn't allowed offline. The instant dudes try to have a chat on this shit in real life, people go apeshit (with the help of mainstream media) casting such meetings as "rape clinics," and get them shut down

and so I don't get accused of cherry-picking...

[–]ProbablyBelievesIt0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

  1. He's not the MRM.

  2. The MRM's a joke when it does meet-up.

  3. Other people actually get shit done for men, instead of whining and making excuses. Care about male suicide? Volunteer to actually help in a hospital, in the mental health field, or through suicide assistance hotlines. Think too many are dying on the job? It's why the people who get shit done perform workplace safety inspections.

[–]kick6Red Pill Man0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

  1. nothing you posted addresses my statement

It's why the people who get shit done perform workplace safety inspections.

U wot? Do you work in a "get shit done" Industry? Because I hate to tell you, but the guys who "get shit done" are usually the ones bypassing all the safety regulations because they're so onerous that you can't actually "get shit done" while either performing the inspection or following the rules.

Source: I work for an oil company who is SO FAR UNDER the watchful eye of the hazard-police that we are literally the least efficient operator in certain areas because of our over-safe policies (that the other guys don't have to follow).

[–]ProbablyBelievesIt0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Nothing in your statement was relevant. Men's rights aren't controversial. Meetings that welcome the guy who created RegistHer or the one who claimed paying for a date without getting laid was date rape for men?

People voice their opinions, and the MRM runs like the useless trolls they are.

If CAFE was serious, for example, they'd never have made ties with A Voice for Men, and they'd be heroes known for their shelters.

but the guys who "get shit done" are usually the ones bypassing all the safety regulations

Yeah, they're all just there to keep people from getting shit done. Except shit does get done, and workplace deaths are way down. There's always room for improvement in anything humans are attached to, but your bumper stickers aren't helping.

[–]kick61 point 10 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link

Nothing in your statement was relevant.

Unoriginal, and useless response. Why respond to me if you're not going to actually respond to me? That doesn't even make sense.

There's always room for improvement in anything humans are attached to, but your bumper stickers aren't helping.

Your definition of "improvement" is expensive to the point of uneconomic. You'd prefer a company go banckrupt...the whole world to go bankrupt...so long as not a single person was injured (especially in the feelz). Despite the fact that there are 7 BILLION of us...you still think human life is precious. Your bleeding hearts aren't helping.

Feminists siphon waaaay more out of society and she was up front about what she wanted to do and they voluntarily gave the money. Take note, the MRAs are the ones who help male victims. A documentary also helps shed light on the plight of victims.

What do you know, this is actually a step in the right direction. I do find it interesting that AVFM is calling this "feminist corruption" though, is she actually a feminist? I can't find any other reference to her being one, in the other articles or the internet. Given Elam's track record of making shit up I'm going to take that with a grain of salt.

Either way, this is the sort of thing I'd like to see out of the MRM, and less hateful "satire", less campaigning to acquit rapists and rape jokes at the expense of victims, less advocating to smear journalists, less advocating to remove protections for immigrant victims of domestic abuse (SAVE) less charity fraud and less petty attacks on feminist organizations which are literally helping the men the MRM claims to fight for.

Mostly though we are laying the ground work so culturally we can get traction for men issues.

Honestly, I think there are other, non-hateful organizations doing a much better job at this already. The MRM as a whole is just giving men's issues a bad name and making people less likely to listen and consider them seriously.

[–]wazzup987Blue pill, you can beat me black & blue for it later0 points1 point2 points 10 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

first in the first article off if you read the article by futrell then you are missing key context. elam quote is given how court already stacked against the defendant for any case, and the amount of pressure that a DA can lay to bear against a defendant and give the prejudices that most juries have against the defense to begin with then add on top of that the ambiguities of most rape cases and how prosecutor can omit evidence to prevent the defendant from finding during discovery, that by virtue of the system a jury should not find anyone guilty much less of crime with the ambiguities of rape. Also import to keep in mind with the crime of rape is mens reas. You cant just violate some ones consent you have to knowling violate some consent.

seriously 70% of the people the innocents project gets off were convicted of rape. prosecuting rape with out dna which because feminist activism of 'you need to get to good place before you press charges typically after all the evidence is gone', has done more to hurt rape victim than any thing pual elam or even the red pill has done. I wont go in to detail as i outlined a lot the arguments i would make below in response to you OP on victim mentality.

The second futrell article is going after journalists who may or may not have slandered elam. I'm am not going to weigh other than to say their is a shit ton of dishonest journalism on the left that hasn't been called out until really gamergate (which ironically is how i found this forum via KIA you may remember the mod from here who posted there). any who the number of slanderous hit pieces that have come from the left on the mrm has been unreal. then we get painted as right wing because god help they haven't beat us yet... they just use us as a dispassionate club to beat the left via feminism. the mrm really is apolitical. the left hates us because we were among the first secular non politically affiliated groups to take on feminism. IE we aren't of the right or the left and we are not affiliated with religion. their are quite a few left wing mra that find it harder and harder to be apart of the left when the left consistently shits on men. And the right will hate us soon enough once we start going after trad con for their retarded bullshit. the mrm has no friend in the right left or libertarian parties. A lot the mrm is anti traditionalism, there goes the right, most of the mrm is anti feminist, their goes the left, a lot mrm problems require the government to solve properly, their goes the libertarians. where does the bastard child that is the mrm fit? In standard political theory the mrm would normal fit on the left except feminism won't let a genuine discussion of mens issues happen in the mainstream. PS the left abandoning mostly working class men is why trump is rising. because in the 70's the left in the us at least, abandoned the blue collar vote in favor of academics and identarians (before it got nuked you should have seen stormfront or sjw sub reddit, and you might want to read some feminist article especially if they talk about men with the mienkampf extension on). but thats a larger topic on the pernicious collectivism killing the left like a gangrenous sore.

your right wing watch piece has nothing to do with the mrm and didn't cite the mrm. there area lot issues with vawa beside the title. the mrms criticism of vawa is wildly different from a right wing criticism.

http://nation.time.com/2013/02/27/whats-wrong-with-the-violence-against-women-act/

http://www.mediaradar.org/how_is_vawa_out_of_control.php

essentially its a bigoted law which only ear marks money for women based off biased IPV research which you and i have talked about before.

the cafe stuff has been smoothed over, it was clerical error, don't be like a twerp and go stabbing at shadows. i mean have you seen what cafe has done? they are the first mrm affiliated organization not open a shelter for men in canada despite feminist complaints and protest.

For the amnesty international thing, do a little research in how A) equality is determined world wide and B) how humanitarian aid is distributed world wide. ah i never could keep a good spoiler so i will tell you now. most metrics for 'equality' [sic] only consider equality to be an issues when it doesn't favor women. SO if women are doing better than men in one area it get counted as 'equal'. if men are doing better in one area it is terrible injustice and must be fixed. really look at the reports and see how they define their equality indexes. it only counter as unequal if it doesn't favor women. Also look at humanitarian aide. their is naked bigotry there.

the good men project isn't willing to go far enough. i'm sorry its not. think about this does feminism have any qualms about calling out men when a man does some thing wrong. (cough cough killallmen yesallwomen hollaback teach men not to rape) isn't that how degeneracy behind 'teach men not to rape' posters that feminists adore so much got started? I mean like transpose that: can you imagine if the KKK had poster and mandatory freshmen classes at college saying 'teach blacks not to steal' or 'teach jews not not loan shark' . but some how that bigotry is just fine for men? I mean look how feminist react to rp? they look at negative things that primarily women do and say to men keep your guard. So which is it? is it moral degeneracy when rp says women have X negative quality and when feminist say men have X negative propensity? or is it just fine and dandy to generalize about men and women?

I would argue the latter because collectivism whether its the moral degeneracy of RP the moral degeneracy of feminism or the moral degeneracy of ethic nationalist movements are all by virtue of being collectivist in nature morally (and ethically) degenerate.

But no god help the mrm if they bring up with out pillorying all women by say 40-60% of DV is at the hands of women and vawa institutes a legal bias against men. Or talk about the moral degeneracy of star chambers on college campuses (and we are winning those legal battles BTW). Can't talk about any that because that might offend a pack of crypto marxist feminist who have issues with due process getting in the way of good old fashion which hunt lynching.

Also GMP does less activism than avfm does and avfm does a pithy amount activism already (does a lot advocacy though). GMP is a sinecure attempt by feminists to say they are talking about mens issue while simultaneously not wanting to criticize feminism when it needs it. seriously their are some mens issues which you cant talk about with out at the very least criticizing feminism. it just not possible. it why /r/feminismformen failed it why /r/menslib will fail. their are some mens issues where their is no way not to at very least criticize if not condemn feminism. about the most productive sub i have found has been /r/FeMRADebates which has it issues but it is by far the most productive sub for this sort of discussion. and even there where a full throated condemnation of feminism or at the very least feminist institution and journalism needs to be condemned cant be done because of the rules. hell the most toxic parts of feminism which are part of the main stream cant be condemned and they need to be. you can be glancing with you criticism but you cant cut to the core of the problem. I am of course speaking of the victim ideology the intersectional feminists seem to love. Its entirely .... no i said i wouldn't touch on that flame war here... go back and read my post on your victim mentality post. or read a street care named desire. either way my point will be made.

point is their are toxic part of feminism which feminism's reflexive defense mechanism isn't willing to excise and isn't willing to fully embrace. so instead it just looks really schizoid.

I'm genuinely sorry, but that sounds like a lot of lame excuses to me. Clerical error, really?

Life is too short my friend, and embracing hatred the way the MRM does is only going to detract from the issues they want to highlight.

thast mra that did that was earl silver man. and he hung him self after canada dicked around with him for four year while they batted him around like a birdie between the human rights council and and the national office of women. the former would say domestic violence falls under the ladder purview, the latter would say we only help women go talk to the former.

We need to change the culture first so we can lay down the the political fire to get politician to do more. right any politician that does any thing is going to get way to much political heat from feminist lobbies do do any thing effectively. essentially its this politics is down stream of culture.

this film will while being unbiased be important for changing the culture. its a major piece about the mrm which is out side of the feminist purview. which mean they cant do what they always do can conflate the mrm with puas or mgtow like the pack lying degenerates that they are.
