One thing I have noticed is a shift in the past 15-20 years from the internet being more text-based (like here) to being more visual based.

Along with the visual base came the phenomenon known as thirst trapping. Thirst trap is when a man or a woman posts a semi nude photo. This, of course is to trap omegas and low betas into making foolish comments online as shown in this blog:

I have a strong feeling that the thirst trap phenomenon is skewing the perceived sexual market toward

  1. making men feel insecure that they cannot meet thirst trappers

  2. skewing young womens body image if they do not have the 36-24-36 body of the women in these photos.

Therefore I think that the thirst trap and Instagram phenomenon is causing a Roissyization and increased red pill emphasis in the SMP. I do not think this is a good thing. Any thoughts?
