You have to understand that with TRP, women can't win.

I agree this one makes no sense. However, I believe if anything, TRP is the invention from which it was realized by men that women can only win. The question is "by what margin?".

Also going to call you out here. I think TRP would be in favor of doing whatever works. Pretending to be the dependable guy who will stick around is certainly a strategy that would work on a good enough number of women. If anything, most women don't wanna fuck you knowing she'll never see you again unless it's an honest-to-god ONS from a club or something.

These common misconceptions about TRP either stem from ignorance or not reading the stuff.

For example in the last thread about flirting all blues pretended that RP flirting means following a script. They said flirting is an art and can't be learned that way. But then I look at how TRP teaches flirting:

First build a high quality man, get outcome independence, get an IDGAF (devil may care) attitude and abundance mentality. Do what you love, purse your mission relentlessly. Then approach 10 women a day. Flirt with every women you interact. Learn what works and what doesn't.

Amused mastery and cocky funny are encouraged since they worked for many men. So you try it, tune it up/down. Do some testing. It's a pointer for what works, if it doesn't work for you then stop it.

No idea how these people could misunderstand TRP so hard. I personally hate these threads, every thread about strawman TRP is wasted time. None of these criticisms hit TRP.

This is the biggest issue. BP folks assume that TRP guys are just misogynists without actually reading their theories. Or they make the erroneous assumption that these RP guys were NOT BP before. Actually, they tried it the BP way and were unsuccessful. They were nice. They were taught to be nice and they behaved accordingly.

They were told their niceness would guarantee some reward at some point and he held out. He held out for years while his (more attractive) friends and fellow men just seemed to be racking up experiences he wished he could have. Still, he held firm. Treat them with respect. Be nice. Don't be creepy or even hint at anything sexual. I mean, women prefer intellectual men and don't like guys who try to be sexual so quickly, right? Hell, women prefer commitment! That's what he will offer. Commitment.

And so he continues to dig a hole for himself, using bad advice and, of course, being shamed for even having a sexuality. He will believe that those men who pump and dump women are truly evil, despite the women he is nice to repeatedly returning to them. And when he tries to change tactics because he dares to have women in his life, he will be shamed for trying, especially if it runs against the cultural narrative. The irony is, he'll get laid a hell of a lot more if he focused on what he wants first.

This is what TBP doesn't get. These guys are fed up of having to constantly make sacrifices for no reward. They have desires too but no one is giving them attention. His desires, though, are seen as too icky for society to deal with and women don't want him to realise that there is a way for him to get laid without commitment or without treating her like she's a special snowflake. They'll demonise his sexuality, tell him he is manipulative or that he is an asshole. But he'll get more success than he has had before.

The constant rejection, treating guys like they're disposable, mocking incels and unattractive men and leaving little to no room for men to be men has contributed to the environment we have today. If you want to see TRP vanish, then women would have to get wet for nice guys.

This is exactly what I was talking about. "Those guys getting laid MUST be assholes."

People's personalities just don't transform that much from reading a website.

Personality can help, but they don't have to change personalities, just sexual strategies. And they may not have been nice and sweet, but they were not in control of their lives or relationships. Consider the betas who are too submissive. One of the complaints women have is that their men don't initiate enough. But that doesn't happen unless she leaves enough room to be a man. Many women feel perfectly okay with being disrespectful, condescending and treating their partners poorly. When he is tired of being treated like this, he seeks a new way to do things so he can get the respect he feels he deserves.

A real beta will take one look at TRP, think it's shit, and leave.

If only this were true. Really. There were quite a few guys who were genuine betas who I was at university with. Sweet, decent guys who worshiped the ground their girlfriends walked on, who were dumped or cheated on. Then when they looked for answers, they would find things like "ladder theory" that made sense, but was very simple. A "real" beta doesn't need TRP if he is attractive enough or confident enough. Regular betas, though, might not be that lucky. However, there is another angle to this: men being conditioned to think that any criticism of women and feminism is not good, so they'd rather not get involved.

Rpillers stayed and read more because the hatred and resentment of women already existed in their heads at some level.

On and off, for years, I would worry about this cunt, and I would ask her regularly if shit between us was cool, and she would make me feel like this was all good. We move cities, we get a nice apartment, we start planning kids. I ask her to marry me, we have a huge engagement party, a year or two later we have a massive sick wedding. We have a crazy honeymoon. We start to pick dates on starting with a kid. We have a kid. A week ago I see yet another text from this dude, and I just snap.

These are not men who are taking control of their lives. They've resigned themselves to the fact that they can trust women because they've been sold the idea that women are wonderful, they don't cheat and that men do. They aren't thinking "take the pussy off the pedestal, tell her this is unacceptable and leave if things are not right." There are instances where guys continued to let this happen and did nothing. They were too passive. TRP says you can stop this by respecting yourself first. Leave if you're getting a bad deal.

Now I doubt all these guys were assholes and they'd been cheated on, rejected, and some even got STDs from their partners' deception. There are plenty of crazy stories about men cheating, too. But these men who were screwed over did not take any personal responsibility. The average beta may or may not do so, but those who refuse to take responsibility for what's happening are doomed to be victims.

If they understood that there are better ways to handle the relationship, that being desperate enough to stay because you have "oneitis" is a terrible way to go about things, and that women are perfectly capable of lying (getting away with it and can get half your stuff), then you as a man should take more control of your life. These guys were pushovers. They kept accepting being screwed over and abused. They may have bitched and moaned, but they were not abusive assholes. They were betas who believed in the happily ever after fantasy, believed the lies because they believed women could do no wrong and let things slip to the degree they have. There were a few red flags and they ignored them. If these guys were all women haters beforehand, they would not have trusted women, fallen in love with them, married them, or even tried to make things work again.

They didn't know or understand this. To them being nice and respectful to women, giving them the benefit of the doubt was okay. They had these expectations setup that would lead to a crash. Hence they're angry. They've been told by parents, teachers, other women that this is how a man should be. This doesn't come out of nowhere. But like I said, at some point they notice the attractive ones getting all the attention. They've spent years doing what's "right" and not getting anywhere.

Furthermore, they may not like women, but TRP places the blame on men's shoulders: they're not appealing to women in the way they want to be appealed to. Those guys are angry, and anyone who stays angry doesn't move onto the better part - taking responsibility for your life. I agree, staying angry at women is futile, which is why TRP says it makes no sense to be angry at women for being women, but they understand that men will be angry at a society that treats women like they can do no wrong, and women taking no responsibility to change it.

Sure, you may be able to handle it a bit better. But remember, these guys probably haven't been in multiple ones or the ones that ended had terrible after effects, such as divorce or being forced to raise a kid that is not yours. These are inequalities that are exist that men suffer from. When these relationships end, they do more than break his heart. They wreck his life.

The other betas who are struggling - not the ones with multiple relationships - may not have the experience to handle these things. Maybe they've only had one or two relationships, are struggling to find partners or just have negative experiences with women. These guys need an answer. The average beta, such as yourself and your friends, are not in the same position. Try to imagine it: no one is interested, you're always being cheated on, women give you zero respect and if she doesn't cheat, the relationships eventually fall apart.

My friend's brother had this. This guy was a computer engineer. Total nerd, but he had a nice girlfriend. She was cute and she hung around. He was older than us, but he was an example of what we could achieve. A nice lady, a good degree and life would open up. After years of being together, she had feelings for another guy and ended it. Why? He was too passive, didn't give her the tingles and didn't have enough experience on how to handle women's expectations. Looking back, it was inevitable: the dude was a whiny bitch who didn't put much effort into himself (such as his looks). His younger brother was better looking, more confident and had many girlfriends.

He eventually got married. I know this is anecdotal, but I am trying to make a link between guys who really suck at this to what I mean. There are guys who need a mental adjustment. They don't get it.

Unfortunately, I cannot. I am trying to show you that at the very least, they tried to be too accommodating, which is something nice guys might do. I can only say that if any of your friends are nice, maybe they are, they were probably angry at some point too when hurt by women. Maybe you and your buddies are that emotionally mature and aware but there are men whose lives have been practically destroyed because of women's deception and the inherent sexism in society. They're angry that women keep getting away with it and that society supports them when they do. This is why TRP suggests that moving beyond the anger is important, but it doesn't tell men to hide their feelings.

They at least have somewhere to vent when they discover the truth: they've been lied to but they are not powerless to change things.

It's their fault they had those expectations. Not women's, and not society's. If they are angry at society for this, then they still aren't taking responsibilty. We are exposed to a huge variety of ideas on a daily basis. Some of these might say women are angels, and some might say they are devils. Others might say something in between. As adults, it's our job to filter and choose which ideas are correct and which aren't. You believe this, right? My parents taught me some fucked up stuff that I don't believe anymore. I'm not angry at them for it. Why would I be? They didn't lie to me. They honestly believed that fucked up stuff. To me the tendency of TRP to cry "We've been lied to!" is just further evidence of their lack of personal responsibility.

I also lost everything in my last relationship. I'm still not angry, not even at the guy who took everything, including my entire youth. He had mental problems and I feel more sorry for him than anything. I hope he gets over it and finds happiness some day. Not to blow my own horn, but I feel like this is how normal adults react.

If he complains that they're not having much sex is his fault, he's probably not giving attention, etc. So he has to give her attention, love etc. If she's not giving her attention it's his fault as well. I agree with you and I think trp has solid tools for a man to change himself. As for example, being assertive, having boundaries, telling what they tolerate and they won't.

I think you can see how that's problematic. I know you'll say that's the men fault and I agree, that's why men go to trp to have help on how to change themselves, how is this hard to get? You're understanding of trp is if as all they do is complain, blame, etc.. when is exactly the opposite.

Obviously this looks basic but in the conditioning we're born to this is really hard and you'll see men being dogs, attention slaves to their wives/gf until they're not happy anymore and thats when they seek help just to be told that's their fault for not keeping her happy etc. "Be happy it is always your fault. If it's your fault, you can change." The problem is not always your fault, if it's your girlfriend fault and she's not willing to meet you halfway, trp will suggest you to dump her.

I like my philosophy better. I always assume it's my fault, because I always had some control on the situation, even if its just choosing to stay with my boyfriend. You chose your girlfriend. You are choosing to stay with her or not. Take ownership over whatever decision you make. The illusion of control is way better than being a victim.

Not really, but as there are so few trps in real life I find it hard for it to reach people that are not at least interested in the topic somehow, I think blue pill would be more appropriated. This is a debate sub do you honestly want to understand the other side or your ideas and perceptions are final?

Some of my perceptions are final, some aren't. I'm fairly convinced that I'm right though.

Everyone does this on this sub for some reason. You think that trp says "don't worry is not your fault blame society, be happy!" when trp says the opposite "Stop making excuses, own it and be better". I don't know if you remember my first point, but I was explaining why men turn to trp.

Honest dread game would be your natural unavailability, you were fed up and needed space, etc.. Would this be manipulation too? Because girls do this a lot. Specially when they are mad about some random trivial crap, and you have to read her mind. Would this be manipulation? I'm not justifying male manipulation with female manipulation. I don't think you're listening at all, you're not replying to me you're replying to your own trp beliefs. I mean, almost all your arguments its how its wrong to blame society, whatever.. but you didn't understand, that I was explaining why men seek for help, you're ignoring that men seek for help and you're ignoring that society can influence a human being. All trp is saying is society won't change any time soon, so you need to adapt. Contrary to Feminism and MRA that are trying to change society.

I don't think we're arguing anymore on this. I agree the anger is misplaced. But I do know they tell the guys that it makes no sense to be angry at women for being women. I think they just direct it at women because women have not been giving them what they felt they deserved. The problem is, where do these guys go if they're angry?

Personally, I think anger is a sign of entitlement, from either TRP or feminists. We live in the best time possible in the best countries possible. Men are angry they don't have pussy on tap when for most of human history the majority of men didn't reproduce. How do you think the dating scene was when rich men were allowed to have 5 or 6 wives at a time? Women can also do whatever the fuck we want and have no right to complain.

I don't want to trivialize the struggles people have, but it seems that people have lost all perspective. It is a great time to be alive. If you aren't dead, every single one of us is lucky as shit for being alive at this particular point in time. Man or woman, if you are angry at society, it's likely you are an entitled, coddled brat.
