What ever age they are when they realize if they don’t shape up and commit, they lose her OR the age when he hits the wall and realizes he will not be able to easily get another woman, so he settles.

No specific age if it’s the right girl. If Kiernan Shipka or a younger Emma Watson came out of the woodworks, I’ll be off the dating list for as long as they stay faithful. The problem is that women around my age, 21, think that they can come into my life, and get married in 3 years and have kids in 6.

It’s so funny that I get to say this phrase like my dad always says to me “I’ve got shoes for longer than I’ve known you”. They ask for too much, when you don’t know that person at all. I had my first GF for 3 years, so when people say oh 3 years, that’s a long term relationship, he should start thinking about life commitment, I laugh.

Also, I think both men and women should be (SOMEWHAT) promiscuous at my ages, you don’t know what you want or like. Imagine if a dude got married to the girl he lost his virginity with, he wouldn’t know what was out there, neither would she, and they’d become tired of each other when they realize that. This isn’t 1950.

If women want commitment from me at such a young age, you legit have to be what I see myself with in the future - which 95% of women aren’t. Unlucky.

I don't think men really think like this, some are relationship orientated, some aren't. The guys I grew up with who slept around as much as possible when they were younger, and got into a relationship as they got older, are all cheaters.

I think it depends on how sexual successful they are.

Unsuccessful guys tend to hang onto women because it'd constant guaranteed sex. Successful men tend to fuck around until they get bored or fall for someone.

Around 30? At least that's when I plan to. The only problem is... I can't find ANY women interested in hooking up, so I might have to settle for a relationship. RP led me to believe women in their 20s would be riding the CC. I've had the exact opposite experience... every woman I meet wants a relationship.

I have never seen a man planning love/family life like women do. I guess its because the biological clock doesn't tick as hard.

Unless you live in a society where planned marriages exist.

Most men I know that have gotten into commitment simply played the field until they found someone they really loved. They were not afraid of missing out and they didn't feel their time was wastes for having spent time with incompatible some.

Some other's were coerced into commitment, but these ended up leaving.

The possibility of having access to sex also plays a big role. I know male friends that regardless of age, will simply not commit out of having a roster of women to fuck on the regular.
