I recently just got this app called Loop Habit Tracker. It sends you reminders when you are supposed to do something every day. So I have it set three times a day to just breath and think. My phone will go ding in the morning, afternoon, and night time (like around the time I go to bed) to just take a big breath in and it has a little reminder about what to think about (pause, gratitude, "this too shall pass"). I wind up doing it more reflexively now but it is so good to develop new habits. This has given me about 3 weeks of peace. I will say though that these weeks have been quiet on the homefront and I do not know if that is just a product of it actually being quiet or of me CTFO cause I remind myself to 3 times a day. I'll go with the latter. :D

Edit: I'm also a self help book junkie. Right now I'm reading Being Wrong by: Kathryn Schulz. I think this is such a great book to develop more emotional intelligence within yourself. Not only does it explore our need to be right, but it also talks about how we interact with the feeling of being wrong. Very interesting read.

The best way for me to stay accountable is to tell my SO about my goals! He will always check up on things I am supposed to be doing, and I never want to disappoint him.

That being said, sometimes I have a tendency to have too many goals/ideas at one time - then I get overwhelmed and just don't do any of it haha. The best thing for me lately is to break things up so I have just a few small things to accomplish per day. So instead of "organize the house!" one day will be reorganizing the tupperware, etc. I know it sounds silly but it really helps me!

Bodybuilding had been great for me for self discipline, routine, health and self confidence. Diligent with my macros too to meet my goals. I am planning to compete at some stage. :)

One tip I have for everyone is to create playlists that you use at specific times, during specific activities. When you hear the music you'll be able to access whatever state is needed and it can be used outside of the initial context to also get you in that state of mind/mood. For example when I am putting on makeup I have a playlist that makes me feel flirty and fun, and if I ever need a confidence boost or anything similar during the day I know I can just put on one of those songs and instantly feel better!

In terms of my own self improvement, I just decided last night that I'm going to start waking up at 6:30 am and working out! I'm a total night owl so that needs to change first, but I'm super excited about this new plan. Working out at the start of the day will ensure that it always happens and I'll feel motivated and accomplished throughout the day!

I for the life of me can't get a physical planner to stick. It's just not for me, and it sucks because they are too pretty. I'm currently testing Fantastical 2 (calendar app) but if anyone has a better system for visually mapping out the day I am open to suggestions. I'm interested to know if anyone has used Planner Pro or other apps like that. (Note: I already use Wunderlist and Google Keep for tasks/shopping lists and so I'm not looking for a list maker/reminder app)

7 weeks app! Its wonderful and was created by someone on the xeffect subreddit. Also Louise Hay books are lovely and contain some great truths in them. They revolve a lot around loving yourself and would resonate well with many of the red pill wives here i believe. Last but certainly not least - affirmations every morning ladies!

I am planning on keeping a journal/sketch book for my thoughts starting in September. I've tried journaling in the past, but never seemed to make it past the two week mark with it. I'm planning to incorporate it with my evening routine somehow, maybe do it during the time my actives are soaking in during my skincare routine!

Ladies who journal- any tips for sticking with it?

I am doing my best to improve in my social media skills. I just learned another hard lesson. If I am going to type more than two or three sentences, I had better do it on word and paste it because I just lost my entire paragraph. I did visit the IRC and I am learning. It is just not easy and I don't have a lot of time to devote to it. But I am determined to come out of the dark ages
