I am completely UNSURPRISED by the data on the men. Of course men find 20-23 the most appealing age. No shit. This should just serve as more proof ladies. Across the board 20-23 year olds are the most desirable. Actually I suspect it would be even lower physically but no one wants to say they are attracted to teenagers in our cultural climate.

I did think its somewhat interesting that in this data women prefer men slightly older than themselves until 30... at which point they start preferring men slightly younger than themselves. Its not a huge effect but its still there.

Shit like this is why I don't understand any feminist arguement that men and women are the same. If the statistics are THIS overwhelming for a clear preference difference isnt it obvious there is something going on biologically? That -maybe- men are hardwired to always be most sexually attracted to 20 year olds because they are more fertile? And that women might be attracted to older men when they are young and younger men when they are old because gasp who is going to be the better provider? Like how can you tell me this is not a clear indication that men and women are totally different.

Questionable science aside, the fact that people may change isn't a valid reason to write off all women under 26. Everyone is always affected by the events in their lives, regardless of age. While there is no telling what impact any one moment can have, usually traumatic or negative events result in women becoming less fit for a relationship due to the shifts in personality that result (eg. bitterness). A woman who dates/sleeps around throughout her 20s has a greater risk of accumulating bad traits; each relationship marks her in some way. In contrast, entering into a serious relationship with someone 16-25 a) increases the likelihood that she would possess characteristics that make her suitable for commitment-she won't be damaged and b) allows you to be the strongest influence in her life, shaping her development and ensuring that she does not end up "entirely different" in a few years.

And plus I wouldn't want to burden/rob them of their freedom to sleep around in their 20s before they settle down in their late 20s and early 30s.

How on earth can you be a red pill man if you believe that you would be burdening a woman by entering a relationship with her? That is not a healthy mentality. Relationships should mutually benefit both parties, and unless you have nothing to bring to the table, your presence in a woman's life should be met with gratitude, admiration, and respect. I also take issue with your belief that you would be robbing women of their "freedom to sleep around". If a woman chooses to enter into a monogamous relationship, how is any freedom being robbed? Why are you assuming that sleeping around is the default, or that it is a good thing? Help me understand, because as a 19 year old currently involved in a serious relationship with a man 12 years my senior, your claims are not representative of my experience. I feel relieved and appreciative to be able to skip the years of heartbreak, false pregnancy scares, stds, fights, mind games, lies, and all the other drama that is an intrinsic part of the modern dating scene.

Relationships at that age are not meant to last, I would just be setting myself up for a disaster.

With that attitude you will be. As the man, the majority of responsibility within the relationship rests on your shoulders, which means any disaster that occurs would be your fault. If you cannot land a younger woman or maintain her interest, that is not an issue with the woman, or with "relationships at that age", that is an issue with you.

You don't seem to have much insight into what you are writing about and instead are perpetuating BP myths, which is only preventing you and any men who happen to read your comments from improving. If you apply yourself, all of the concerns that you outlined become irrelevant. If you select a good woman and maintain a strong frame, you will find dating women under 26 vastly more rewarding.

You completely misunderstood my post. No problem. However this is kind of reaffirming my point, as a 30 year old male, I would never want to be seriously involved with someone as naive and immature (no offense, just referring to biological maturity). And part of that reasoning is because girls go through phases and typically aren't capable of retaining a very long term relationship in the teens/ early twenties. That's not to say you can't be in a relationship with people, and even for up to like 10 years, but I don't think that is A) healthy for either person, or B) going to last for life. You need to be dating around and finding out what's best for you, healthiest for you and that typically isn't going to be found because everyone is still developing. It's like trial and error and it gets 'it out of your system'. I'm not going to have second thoughts about marrying a chick if I know she has played the field enough for her satisfaction and self realization, in the same way a guy needs to do that.

I also think there is probably something wrong with a dude who is older than me dating someone as young as you. Not because of some abitrary bias or whatever, but because there is something up with that dude and something up with that chick.

The reason I asked about the father thing, is because typically women who date way older guys as a habit have issues with abandoning fathers or some other interpersonal childhood trauma that would cause them to seek attention of older men under the guise of "I'm just mature for my age" etc. It's very common.

And just to throw some stats to back up my 'date around' claims, something like 50% of marriages end in divorce within like 10 years, and the percentages get higher as the people are younger. Namely because of the PFC development. Teens and early twenties people brains are more sociopathic, that is to say they are impulsive and take more uneccessary risks.

PS- All the neuroscience I've seen says that the development is done by/around the age 25. I've never heard 30 or 40 years old. However, I could see how that can make sense considering women's biological clocks usually kick into overdrive in the early 30s and then slow back down for premenopause etc.

Also there is the part about raising kids and growing old together, you don't want to have someone more than like 10 years older than you down the road. By the time you have kids and then they are off to college or whatever, your mate is going to be retiring and then need senior care etc. I guess that's fine if you are a co-dependent lol. And then he's gonna be dead like 20 years before you considering the way that works.

In what way did I misunderstand your post? I copied your words exactly and responded in a clear and direct manner. You failed to provide an actual response on two separate occasions and now you claim that my original understanding of your comment was wrong? Why not say that first instead of rudely asking about my relationship with my father? It doesn't seem like I misunderstood anything at all. You simply don't want to think critically about the points I brought up, and consider the possibility that you are wrong. If there is a legitimate error in my thinking please use direct quotes and point out exactly where I went wrong when interpreting your comment.

What exactly is reaffirming your point? Age is not an indicator of maturity, especially in this current social climate. Everyone is encouraged to avoid responsibility, hard work and consequences and almost no one has a true understanding of what is going on in the world around them. There are many women who are young, bright and capable of handling themselves well. These women are infinitely better than any seasoned 33 year old, who embodies the worst of both masculinity and femininity.

As the man in the relationship, you have the responsibility of building yourself up, selecting the right woman, and maintaining a strong frame. If you successfully do all three, all relationships will start and end on your terms. There would be no need to worry about any fickleness on the girl's part. The lack of commitment is heightened within women today because men have failed in assuming authority, so, don't continue the trend and you won't have any issues.

What on earth are you talking about? Everyone is always developing, that seriously cannot be your justification. Did you consider people growing together? Or one person guiding the other? People find their husbands and wives at all sorts of ages, many before the age of 25.

Way to get it completely backwards. Women with high partner counts are less valuable, they do not receive the same status as men with a lot of experience. Women and men have entirely different sexual strategies and a woman who adopts the male version will find herself alpha widowed, bitter and full of regret. RP relationships are founded on the dynamic between an older man and a younger woman, this is common knowledge and has been the way of the world for centuries. An older man is more established and experienced, he has wisdom and he can be protective. His role is best complemented by someone who is a source of positivity and joy, who brings beauty into his life and constantly seeks to make him happy. Age gaps heighten this dynamic; the man can be the properly masculine provider, while the woman can be feminine and carefree. There is nothing wrong with anyone who prefers this set up, again, it is the natural pairing that nearly all humans have practised and/or supported throughout time.

Is that the reason that you asked? Because it really seemed like you were trying to insult me and discredit my opinion. There is a stereotype about women who have poor relationships with their fathers but nothing that I said in my post to you regarding my relationship should have caused you to ask about my father. You were looking for a way to invalidate my opinions, to write me off as someone who didn't know what they were talking about, as someone who was unqualified to tell you the things I was telling you. You were attempting to be offensive and your rationalisations afterwards do not distract me from this fact.

There is so much to unpack here but basically you don't know what you're talking about and I could spend a lot of time linking you to different posts refuting each of your claims but I'm not sure how much good that would do. I suggest you take the time to do the necessary research yourself, and really reflect on what you find. You are clinging to the same false narrative that mainstream society pushes on everyone. At the age of 28 I went back to college. Its true, younger women are on average more attractive than women who are older than 25. Thing is, the younger the woman is, the more immature and childish she is. A woman of that age is also in her bad boy/hottest guy phase. Most guys in their 20s can't get with women who are their own age, why would older men find it easier? Money? ''social status'? Women that young aren't yet in wallet-seeking mode like the women who are 25 and older are.

Besides, women that age are terrible at sex, they think all they oughta do is to wax their genitals and be done with it.

Its great to be a 20 year old man who is attractive to women his age. Its not that great to be a man in his late 20s attractive to younger women. I would spend my days wishing I would go deaf so that I wouldn't have to listen to more endless drama, lol.
