If you’re not comfortable and he’s only your boyfriend not your husband or fiancé, don’t do what you’re not comfortable with. You’re a high value woman right? Make decisions that continue to make you one.

I personally am happy to take these photos and am not concerned he’ll ever show them or pos them anywhere. That being said we’re 11 years in.

This isn’t really a RPW question and more so a question of what you’re comfortable with. I send photos to my husband and I did when we were living together before marriage as well. But I trusted him deeply by the time we started doing that and I am confident he would never do something like that to damage my reputation. If you aren’t comfortable, you aren’t comfortable, so tell him this. If he has an issue with it, he can find a partner who is willing to provide this, and you can find a partner who is willing to respect your boundary. I don’t really think there’s much room for compromise when it comes to sexual boundaries.

I had a 10 year relationship where he was obsessed with receiving pictures. At first I provided because it was fun and flirty, but I can tell you doing so for 10 years became a chore. Also, I realized he was kind of addicted to it and probably porn in general. We weren’t spending as much time together in person as I wanted and our relationship did not progress to marriage so I became resentful and feeling like he was just with me for pictures.

So now, I won’t do it. I actually become turned off if they ask. I’m always afraid it will become an addiction. I suppose if I had been with someone for a long time, and it was a one time deal because they were traveling or some thing, I might accommodate, but in almost every case I’ve done this it becomes a slippery slope where they begin to ask for it nonstop, sometimes preferring it to sex, and that just doesn’t feel healthy to me personally. I’m not a OF creator, even for just one person.

My stance on this is that I won't do it. No matter how much I trust him, the fact that the photo exists means it could be seen by someone other than him and that's enough for me to not feel comfortable. My body is for his eyes only, in private.

I find that a guy's response to this tells me a lot about his character and feelings for me, tbh.

I have a different viewpoint to this.

I’ve only had one partner my whole life, and he’s the only person I’ve sent nudes to, a year into the relationship. I love doing it because he looovess it.

My partner is also anti-porn and I’d much prefer he uses my pictures/videos. Most of the time, it’s accompanied with phone sex or on FaceTime. As for the shared aspect, I have full 100% trust, otherwise I wouldn’t do it. I know if things ever went south between us, he would never show anyone. In fact, he’s my ex now! And I 100% know he’s deleted everything.

When we were together, sex was very important in our relationship. It was also our secret. I never shared details with my friends (they knew nothing) and he lied to his when they asked him questions about me. He did this for my sake. No one knows my nudes exist but him, because as far as anyone knows, I don’t send anything ;)

Now, like I said, I only did this a year into our relationship. But there’s no timeline. If you simply don’t want to, don’t! Communicate that with him, and maybe find something that works for both of you? If you don’t want anything to be “saved” maybe you could be naughty over FaceTime and do it together!

I never do it. There is so much "revenge porn" out there and it is such common behavior for men to share photos after breakups as a way to intentionally disrespect their ex. I'm sure my current partner would never do this, but I still hold to my rule, and he can see me in person

Well, the effort is a sorry excuse, but not being married is a good reason to not want to share some scanalist pics. If you were married, I would say it's ok. But if you're uncomfortable, you can use disappearing pictures or snap chat. Or your partner may not be the one for you if he goes against your morals.

If you do send anything, never ever have your face in it. Maybe even not much of your body. I have done it as I knew my man wanted to see me instead of watch p*rn and it enhanced our connection but I'd never show my face. Once I sent him a cute photo of my feet in high heels and a video of me sliding my feet in a sexy way, wearing heels. He ofc knew it was me and found it sexy and a tease but if it got leaked, you couldn't tell it was me it was just a hot pair of feet/legs. Another time I sent my boyfriend a picture of my bum in some sexy lingerie but like it could have been anyone's bum and not too different to wearing a bikini at the beach.

Remember if he shares it (and most likely he will, even if it's just to friends or worst case it ends up online) would you feel comfortable with people seeing it. If your face isn't in it then it's a lot less compromising

If it's on video call, just show a shoulder or something in a sultry way but never take anything off as they could screenshot

if you're unsure if you want to do it then don't. the risk of them is sharing your nudes to others is one i wouldn't take. even if you think "oh he's great" "we would never break up" be realistic.
