I’m such a jeans and t-shirt gal, but I’ve been trying to make my daily look more feminine. To elevate my uniform I look for high-waisted skinny jeans (lengthens my legs, makes me look curvier) and v-neck t-shirts (show off the collar bone! Sexy without being too over the top). For dressing up I’ll put on a blazer. Dressing a little more casual, a cardigan.

Definitely look up Justine Leconte on YouTube for fashion tips. Really practical advice with a focus on individuality, quality, and femininity.

I’d love to see what recommendations you get for quality, feminine clothes. I’m on the hunt as well!

Whatever you do, make sure your wardrobe matches your lifestyle. I have plenty of heels and dresses but I don’t wear them much except to church, date nights or special occasions. I work from home so I go from pajamas to athletic wear and then back to pajamas. There’s just no time for all that in my day to day life on top of little kids.

But... I make sure my pajamas are pretty and my athletic attire is stylish. I work out a lot and I’m very active with my kids so wearing dresses and heels on a daily basis isn’t compatible with my lifestyle.

There’s more to femininity than dresses and heels. It’s your mannerism, your overall appearance, how to speak and etc... a fat girl in dresses and heels still isn’t feminine.

As for dresses and heels, I love Ann Taylor. I love their stuff.

I'm not saying that every woman should dress super feminine, but if that's your goal: try to have as many skirts and dresses as you have shorts and pants, or preferably, more. Find a style you like and start wearing dresses and skirts more than not. I love floral, but a piece doesn't have to be floral to be feminine. You just have to find what you like. I'd avoid blazers, I find them very masculine.

I have always loved dresses, so I've been wearing them for years. You should have some that are more casual and you wouldn't necessarily use for going out, some cotton, comfortable ones. Then some that are a little more dressy and so on, so you always have an option to wear one no matter the occasion.

Try to wear earrings or a necklace every day. They make you instantly more feminine. I think a lot of femininity comes from your mannerisms, your tone of voice, and your mood as well. That's partly the reason I'm trying to limit how much time I'm listening to media that is very political, like Blonde in the Belly of the Beast. Even if they are talking about things that I agree with, I find they cultivate a way of thinking that are very masculine, and as someone who has a problem not sounding kinda aggressive with my opinions, they make it worse hahah

Hey, me too! I’m trying to dress more feminine as well! Some things that have worked for me:

Finding out your seasonal color palette and sticking to that for your wardrobe. Your seasonal color palette will help you identify which colors look best on you. I’m a deep autumn and I make sure my closet matches the colors that highlight my features best.

Silk blouses: Silk is incredibly feminine, sensual, and classy. Silk helps show off my curves without clinging to them; I have a hard time wearing white so I wear silk in black, cream, navy, turquoise, and olive.

Lace and pretty detailing. Most of my clothes are classic shapes and cloth materials but I try to wear at least one thing a week that is extra feminine.

I think the key to a feminine wardrobe is to look clean and put together and rotate through a few feminine pieces with some classic pieces. Not everything you wear needs to be very femme but your overall style can be.

I mostly wear dresses. Generally casual or business casual type of dresses. I buy sweater leggings at H & M so I can keep my legs warm in the winter. On cold winter days I prefer skinny jeans and nice tops but sometimes I will wear a t-shirt.

To feminize my outifts, some of my items are light pastel colours (I wear white and pink) or sometimes wear a cute scarf or piece of jewelery.

My shoes are usually flat "ballet shoes" , I dont wear heels. I just dont find them comfortable.

For makeup, I love wearing lipstick and mascara. Sometimes I wear eyeshadow.

I either wear disgustingly cute clothes or very sleek and classy clothes. Its kinda funny, one half of my wardrobe is pastel and the other half is black. My two favourite outfits are a cute low v-neck blouse in beige with a long pleaded pink skirt and darkwash bootcut jeans with a black turtleneck and a vintage suit jacket.

It’s summer where I live , so I absolutely love colourful sundresses :) i like to enhance my favourite areas of myself (neck , chest) and really highlight my best features. Maxi dresses in particular look good on most shapes & sizes as it’s mainly about the fit / sleeves etc that can make it work for your body type.

I think feminine dressing is the “full package”. Hair and makeup done, maybe a bit of jewellery - just looking very well put together essentially. Being well groomed shows you take pride in your appearance. You’ll feel so confident about yourself and others will want to be around you too! :) xx

I'm a SAHM with a little baby and a toddler, and I like to look very feminine while being comfortable and practical. I often find pieces on ASOS and Laredoute. I don't tend to wear makeup day-to-day at the moment, but make sure to wear stud earrings (my husband has been buying me some beautiful stones recently) as they always make me feel more put together. I also think a bit part of looking feminine is being polished - ironing your clothes, polishing your boots etc.

My daily uniform is either wrap dresses (perfect for breastfeeding), a wrap top and skinny jeans, or feminine blouse and skinny jeans. It's cold here in the UK, so I'm wearing some black lace up boots which give a little edge to my look which I like.

I also make sure to only buy new items that already compliment my existing wardrobe - there is no point in buying a skirt that only matches one top imo.

I love the daytime dresses from Reformation - they're super high quality, youthful, and trendy. I have small hips but I also have hip dips like you, so I love their A-line dresses and wrap dresses because they cinch at the waist or just above it and flare out where my hip dips are. These get a little pricey, but I keep their style in mind when I'm shopping at more affordable stores like Zara or ASOS too!

When it's a little colder, I wear high waisted mom jeans (which are tight around the booty but baggy enough around the hips to conceal the hip dips) and some kind of blouse with a leather or suede jacket. I love silk/satin button downs like this or this, which are versatile enough that you can dress them down with jeans to run errands or dress them up by tucking them into a cute mini-skirt and pantyhose to go out. During the day, I usually just pair these with sneakers or sandals and I'm set!

Most of what I wear in the daytime translates well to going out/date night since it's right on the border between casual and dressy. I dress my daytime look up with some jewelry like this and dressier shoes and I'm set! I try my best not to wear heels because I have bunions, so I wear flats and boots instead.

When I'm at home chilling, I either wear slip dresses/teddies in the summer or a sweatsuit in the winter because I get cold very easily! If anyone has any advice on how to dress well at home during the winter AND stay warm, please let me know haha!
