I'm in a really good place in my relationship and life, and yet can't let go of painful things from the past. The only bad experience I had from the past that is forgiven is my dad's corporal pushment and anger issues, which he resolved, and he's my dad and I love him so as long as he isn't abusive anymore all is forgiven.

I continuously think about my exes, and the shitty things they did. My one ex said he loved me and we went out to dinner and had a nice time and 2 days later he broke up with me and a month later he was dating another girl, and I want him to understand how much better my life is, and how much I upgraded and how he didn't. Even though we both are in (presumably) healthier relationships now and I should just be happy.

I was also bullied a lot in high school and just wonder if they see me on social networks and how I look cute and have a good boyfriend and they didn't ruin me. And I fixate on their lives too much and compare us.

I know these are all flaws, I'm not looking for sympathy, and I'm very good at hiding this from my SO, this is for my own personal growth and happiness that I'm looking for constructive advice and criticism.

I feel like I've reached certain personal goals and that I should just be able to let go of the wrong doings from the past, but I can't. I'm also extremely "polite" and "proper" in real life, I realized that no one likes me when I'm negative so I bottle it up. I don't think therapy would help because I feel to vulnerable. And my boyfriend tells me I have a great life now and should not even think about them.

I've tried channeling negative energy into positive goals but I still fixate on it.
