The thought of how lionesses bring in food for the pride and still give the male first munch comes to mind.

There's a different kind of satisfaction and appreciation I see in men, compared to women, when they have food prepared for them. And it seems like women get competitive at cooking, like in family reunions. I know I get a huge feeling of accomplishment out of something as small as making a good omelet, every time I cook I want to beat the quality I reached last time. Anyone would like a nice meal for them, it seems to me men really take it to heart. It's such an ordinary thing essentially, just making a meal, but it makes such a difference when it's done well, on time, and with the guy in mind.
