Being single (my whole life), up until this point in time, forces me to think of how much improvement I need to make on myself. I know I need to be more approachable, sociable and not stay home 24/7. But regardless of all that I've done for myself thus far, there's still a piece of me (if not all of it, honestly) that makes me feel like I'm not good enough.

I either feel like I'm not as pretty as such-and-such beauty, or adventurous, or bubbly. For the longest time, I've always been the docile introvert who constantly feels like she's too 'vanilla'. Something I think about is how women, though they may have what their partner wants, he may set out to find something (or someone) better. Either break off the relationship and jump straight into another one within a short timeframe, or cheat.

I hear music, conversations from other guys every now and then. They want someone feisty, or outgoing and bubbly. Someone outspoken; something I hear within my age bracket is how guys want a 'bad bitch'. I'm obviously not those at all, and feel plain.

I want to be the girl who exudes confidence, femininity and charisma. I aspire to have the pleasant, sensual and magnetic presence, besides the outer beauty I want to have as well. Those are the women I've always admired (even envied , admittedly). But I understand my confidence needs a lot of work. Being constantly told that I'm ugly (by both men and women), being treated with little to no respect has done a number on my overall self-image. However, I want to overcome these feelings of inferiority and insecurity.
