Hi all,

This is my first post here. Mr. L and I are expecting a baby within the next weeks. We want to raise a strong son in the current world of the Gilette ad, etc. I wondered from any of you who have experience or perspectives of any kind on the following:

1) With adding the important role of mother for you (and father for him), how do you keep your romantic relationship a priority? I can see that parenthood builds your romantic bond in even stronger ways while also minimizing the focus on one another (since you're both focusing on the little one(s)).

2) I'm wondering if you have any advice about raising sons. Of course, I have read all the typical parenting books and websites, we have prepped a lot, and we are absolutely ready and eager to be parents! I'm specifically wondering about thoughts from this community, though. For example, I've read The Boy Crisis and I've tried to find other sources of advice that align with the red pill thinking. Fortunately, it seems we have the most important part of raising strong men down: having a strong relationship/family unit.

3) Being the best mother I can be is my priority. Part of that is staying healthy and showing our kids how to value their own health (through our own modeling). I am worried about losing weight and getting in shape again after pregnancy. Do you have any tips about caring for your own body during the postpartum months/first year?

Thank you! I look forward to the discussion! :)
