I've recently gotten into refinishing furniture, mostly just painting them using chalk paint. After painting, I will distress and "antique" the piece, then use a finishing wax over everything.

The dresser I did earlier this summer and the nightstands were done a couple of weeks ago. I still need to put the hardware on the nightstands. I have a few other pieces around the house I've done but no pictures on my phone. It's been a lot of fun to repurpose the life into dull furniture.

I've been crocheting for about a year now. I love to make little amigurumi toys for my 3 and 5 year old boys. Here are some that I have made. They get so excited that I can make pretty much any random thing that they ask for. I've also been starting to make toys based off of kids drawings, like this. It's been a really fun and rewarding hobby for me.

Here's an attempt at sewing! I haven't done it since I was about 6 years old, but my mother taught us how to handsew little calico Teddy's and whatnot at that age. I tried again recently from basic memory as a surprise gift for my partner. Hand sewed animals, bear and monkey. (Our nicknames for each other ) I look forward to learning the sewing basics again and making some proper stuff

Besides cooking, I love to work with leather. I am learning how to mold leather to make possibles pouches and eventually holsters. I have made some journal covers. I participate in historical reenactment cooking for Revolutionary war soldiers and hope to make pouches to sell at some upcoming events.

Sadly I am not that crafty.. or at least I haven't found anything interesting yet. Most of my creative juices get sucked out of me at work :(

My mother is a fantastic quilter so I lean that way since I have a great resource a phone call away. I don't have pictures but I'm currently working on this spiderweb project . I can post pictures when I have one done.

I don't always have that sort of dedication to my hobbies because cuddles need to be had. But, I like baking. I would like to invest more time making the basics like pies, bread and the like. I spend more time making fancier things like 3 layered cakes but I have no idea how to knead bread.

I also like to crochet, and knit. I have made a bunch of amigurumi for my friends/coworkers little-uns. I would love to get into paper crafts like quilling and card making.

My main hobbies are knitting, cooking, baking and gaming. I would post photos of my cooking and knitting but they are all on Facebook, and I'm too lazy to upload all that to imgur.

My specialties are cabled hats and single socks, LOL.
