Time to up your End Game. I'm talking about building a better butt ladies! This fall I started going to a "booty workout" class at the gym and it has been so much fun, great exercise, my man is thrilled with the results and I've made a whole new group of feminine girlfriends! Today with every squat and deadlift I couldn't help but think of you ladies so I wanted to share a little workout motivation/FR as we approach the New Year and those elusive resolutions.
Over the summer I befriended my SO's friend's girlfriend who is a tiny but super strong little thing who works out almost every day. I was really motivated by her spirit and I wanted to join her for some workouts. One class she went to 2x a week was a Leg Day workout, but everybody knows it as "Booty Class." Her friend is the instructor who is a super sweet very girly girl with a killer body. The class is all girls from late teens to early 30s and we do an hour variety of squats, deadlifts, lunges and bridge exercises to pumping hip hop booty anthems! I've been going for a few months now and I really got to know the instructor and a handful of girls from the class, and I try to bring other girlfriends as often as I can. Having girlfriends has been a challenge for me since I graduated college and moved here, as its really hard to meet and socialize with women where I live. My SO even admits that all his ex girlfriends had trouble finding girlfriends in this community. But now having a group of fun feminine girly girlfriends who are health and fitness motivated is a dream come true! After class a bunch of us will go out to dinner (sweet potato fries right to our asses) and just talk for hours about relationships and girl stuff and all the things I've been missing out on from my years as a Tom boy. We'll plan sporty activities like ice skating and hiking, while inspiring each other to dress and act feminine. I feel so grateful to fill this girlfriend void that has been missing from my life, so thanks to RPW for inspiring me to seek connections with women! You have to actively go out of your way to build friendships with women but it's worth it!
Also, I'd like to report that it is so much fun to work out with all girls (no creepy male lurkers) and there's something to say about gym girls and esp gym girls who want their butts to be one of their best assets ;). They're doing it specifically for their man (or to attract a man). They are not the "I don't need no man" womyn. The point of the class is to maximize SMV specifically from the male perspective You can't even see your own butt, it's for him to enjoy! And I don't think most women realize just how important a good butt is to men. My man looooves a nice booty and we were recently having an interesting conversation about how the Instamodel and twerking phenomenon has brought booty into the cultural spotlight that was always reserved for rail thin super models or busty bunnies. When I was growing up, a "fat ass" was an insult and all the models were sticks with boobs. But now when men vote (through likes/follows) suddenly booty is popping up everywhere. It's only natural!
Anyways, I can't encourage you enough to give your butt some special attention. After that first class I couldn't pick anything up off the floor for a week I was so sore! But my man started to notice a difference in only a few weeks :) If you're still in high school the best thing you can do for your butt and SMV is join the cross country and track teams! The gluteus maximus evolved in humans specifically because of running. And nearly every girl I know who has a nice butt, even after a decade of inactivity, ran in HS. I think something about working out those muscles while your body is still developing sets you up for life in a way that you just can't get if you start squatting furiously in your 20s. If your past your teens, good news is that everyone can still build a better butt! Find a gym or class to attend because you're going to need weights! The gym here only charges $9/class and you done have to be a member. Bring a girlfriend or two! Your man (or future man) will thank you!
